Sure do. Socialism leads to Communism. It's just one step behind. You must have socialism first, to destroy the middle class, so they have no money or political power, then Communism sweeps in, lead by the "Ruling Class".
Communism by definition has no "ruling class", it's a near-anarchistic classless and stateless (meaning no political systems or government) society.
I'm not saying that communism is the way to go, I'm just saying that you could at least spend 5 minutes Googling the terms you claim to understand before making a fool of yourself.
Communism, and "their leaders", as few as they may have, are the "ruling class". Quit living in literalville.
And back to my original point, when Communism does eventually come, after socialism, then YES.....freedom of speech, like getting blocked on YouTube by MSNBC lovers will eventually happen.
I'm not living in "literalville", you just obviously have no idea what a communist society would be like. All you're doing is restating what you've already said, so you've obviously got nothing else to say on this issue.
You're using "getting blocked on Youtube" as an example of what socialism brings? What the hell does that have to do with the price of coffee in Bolivia? You're creating a ridiculous strawman argument. Hell, even a strawman has more substance than what you're saying.
Listen comrade. I'm not trying to write a dissertation here. I'll make simple for you.
How about this .."one thing leads to another". For socialism to take root, it has to start somewhere. It started with the Federal Income tax in the early 1900's. Then we got Social Security (slowly taking away our money for perceived "security"). Then welfare , medicaid , medicare. All things that were supposed to help us (poor idiots who can't take care of ourselves). Socialistic redistribution
Really how many untraceable phones have they found in the possession of terrorist? Yet 16 or more guys secretly hijack 4 airplanes and use them against us right? so how many of them do you really think used a traceable phone to make a call regarding any attack. Common sense says don't use phones at all, and all terrorist conspirators meet face to face to discuss plans and crap.
Then he decided to let Obama off the hook when Obama and most Democrats capitulated to Bush on this issue. This only shows that Olbermann has two very distinct views on the law.
1. When Bush or Republicans take away our freedom, it is a very bad thing.
2. When Obama or Democrats go along with Bush and refuse to do what's right, it's a good thing.
I'm pretty sure O'Reilly and Olberamann could exchange seats. DIfferent views, same hypocrisy.
Last year, Olbermann repeatedly blasted Mrs. Clinton for once mumbling about her ability to win white voters. Earlier, when Obama had made the same boast of himself three times, Olbermann said nothing.
When Miley Ray Cyrus was ripped by NBC and other media for her skimpy clothing, Olbermann savaged only Bill O'Reilly for criticizing her. Olbermann never acknowledged that she admitted to dressing inappropriately.
Only 500 characters? I could write all day about Olbermann's deceptions.

Letter demanding that they vote AGAINST the FISA bill containing the retroactive immunity for telecoms. It is about FOLLOWING THE LAW. These huge corporations broke the law and are now having their handmaidens in Congress protect them from the prosecution they so deserve!!! Do it now, PLEASE.
Keith has changed his mind. He now thinks Bush is right. Isn't that great? Keith now thinks its OK to trash the 4th Amendment.
And not only that, Keith has lost most of his problems with the retroactive telecom immunity. My theory is that Keith has been watching so much Bill O'Reilly that some of the Fox News thinking on this issue has rubbed off on Keith.
Keith now understands that if the President is from your own party, you can trust them with anything.
Olbermann truly is one of very few giving us the truth about things. You fools that want to follow Bush and these criminals in our government.... go ahead... you will be a co conspirator in making our Country a police state where none of us can have any privacy and we will be forced into slavery to the corporate powers that be... we are well on the way there already. WHY NOT NOW??? and WHY SO MUCH MONEY??? and you will get to pay it in your phone bill!!!
Why would god bless a moron like old G dubbaya,or for that matter the USA,or human beings in general, monkeys have better etiquette.
I think GW would rather be blessed by the chap with horns that represents the other pole anyhow.Think my pet goat.Pathetic pea brain he is.kinda like yourself.
The president doesn't want to spy on you or me Keith, he wants to spy on people making calls to terrorists and vice versa. That kind of skewering is to be expected from an Ed Murrow look-alike without Ed Murrow's substance. Try delivering that arrogant monologue to someone like Michael Savage, you'll be chopped up into little pieces.
Assume for a moment that Mendelsohn's endearingly blind faith in our incumbent leader is fully justified: just why are right-wingers like him prepared to leave total control over our communication system in the hands of the next Democrat to win the Presidency? Perhaps one can't expect any civil, or indeed coherent, replies from the radical right, but do any moderates or liberals out there have a guess why the marching Bushies are so short-sighted? Deep down, this isn't really a left-right issue.
It's only a left-right issue when people like you make it one by assuming an automatic higher platform in the debate. For instance, it wouldn't occur to you that I'm a full fledged independent who supports gun control, choice and gay rights Oh no, I must be a right-wing whack job if I agree with any decision the President makes.
Nevertheless, agreeing with Bush's idea that mass dragnets of our communications are of any use in police work does make Mendelsohn, if not a whack job, at least deeply ignorant of research on police work. E.g. the FBI leaked that they wasted immense resources checking out tens of thousands of totally useless leads from NSA wiretaps on our phone calls. Hence tens of thousands were put at risk of false arrest, to no purpose.
"People like you," who assume the worst in those you disagree with. If you're not that person, fine. I accept wiretaps as a useful method in tracking down terrorists, even though false leads occur. No one wants their phone calls listened to. But if I'm calling Afghanistan and using suspicious language and my government isn't listening in, than I want Bush impeached. I'm well aware of your facts, and I still stand by my beliefs. Can you handle that without calling me ignorant?
I believe the President, wether it's Obama, McCain or Danny DeVito, should have the ability to listen in on suspicious phone calls too and from possible terrorists to prevent more buildings from going up in flames. We live in a different world now and must, BY ANY MEANS anticipate attacks before they happen. You better believe the next President will be authorizing wiretaps and more, wether or not Keith Olbermann or The New York Times decides to leak it.
Note "Possible" terrorists. Note capitalized "BY ANY MEANS". Mendelsohn is evidently willing to accept a quite literal police state to avoid -- what? "buildings going up in flames."
In the United States over half a million buildings go up in flames each year, almost never caused by terrorists. Terrorists kill on average far fewer than 200 persons/year on American soil; Doctors who don't wash their hands kill more than 20,000. Mendelsohn is mindlessly terrorized of terrorists.
I must not care about those who die of cancer, old age, unwashed doctors-hands and cigarets, if I would like to stop another 3,000 people from being murdered in our country. I'm comfortable disagreeing on methods to catch terrorists, but will not tolerate neglecting their existence to talk about germs. You can either debate me on the issues or take my expressions literally and continue with your word salad.
Mendelson, whoever might be the president has already the tools. It's called Title III, or T-III, and it sets the rules for wiretaps. One of the things that the law requires is PROBABLE CAUSE, not the ability of the government to listen on anyone without cause. If you have probable cause, go ahead and listen, but do not bend the law to your own purpose. Because today are the terrorists and tomorrow the opposition. And I am not willing to give the government that power, not now, not ever.

Attempting to identify who the fans of Olberman are, I posted negative comments about him on 21 videos. People coming forth to defend Olberman primarily included:
1. America haters including 1 who quoted Hitler's "Mein Kampf". Some predicted the fall of the US gleefully. All admired Olberman's bias against America's leaders.
2. Males who praised Olberman's flawless skin & perfect hair
3. Juveniles whose ever sentence included the vulgarist profanities & threats (spineless on the net)
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie.
I have a question for you. Have you ever spent any significant time living or traveling outside of the US? I ask simply because you sound so much like the rednecks in North America who've never allowed their minds and/or bodies outside the borders of their own counties.
One can love the country without cowing to the politico puppets who serve, in Bush' case with half a brain, the big money interests who are presently running things here.
No, seriously... Bush is a moron. The outrageous things he keeps doing instead of say, helping make our country better, make me incredibly furious and increasingly likely to move to Canada.
well, since we are name calling here....you are an inbred, ignorant, coon dog effing redneck, douchebag, who is so willing to give away his/her (I'm not sure) freedoms that you do not deserve any.
Spoken like a true cunt. I wonder if Keithy boy is looking at nude pictures of boys online. That would explain his paranoia. Too bad he's using fear "don't have the law b/c they're all going to spy on you" to what he accuses bush's "gotta have this law or your all gonna die". I guess the talking puppet head must be really desperate for ratings these days.
One of Barack Obama's argument is, it's essential to get it right on the First Day.
But he couldn't possibly be the one to tout on Judgement when he himself have avoided making judgements himself by voting for "Present" for more than a hundred legislation.
This is someone who cannot vote for "Yes" or "No" and this lack of courage is certainly not someone experienced enough to lead on the First Day!
Thumbs up if you want to see Olbermann on Bieber! XD

It would probably be simple to find the same thing of opposers.
That said, I love his hair.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie.
Times up!

Camshaft:
I have a question for you. Have you ever spent any significant time living or traveling outside of the US? I ask simply because you sound so much like the rednecks in North America who've never allowed their minds and/or bodies outside the borders of their own counties.
One can love the country without cowing to the politico puppets who serve, in Bush' case with half a brain, the big money interests who are presently running things here.
Turn off your TV and get out more.

It's no surprise that the "KEITH OLBERMANN CHEERING SQUAD" wants to hide you camshaff. They only like free speech when it suits their interests.

Thank you Keith! You speak the truth and Harry Reid SUCKS.
Good sound quality on this one, thank you to Hillbilly Report. I hate it when video sound quality is bad.

Olbermann for president!
No, seriously... Bush is a moron. The outrageous things he keeps doing instead of say, helping make our country better, make me incredibly furious and increasingly likely to move to Canada.

Mr. Olbermann speaks for anyone who values our Constitution, including me.
mrltavern, the juvenile tone and slanderous "wondering" in your comment discredit any (possibly otherwise valid) point you were trying to make.

Too bad Bush dog will never see or hear any of this....his rose tinted glasses have Olbermann blinders on.
Thanks, Keith. Well done.

On TV.
Lots of us watch his show every night.
We've been left out of the process and the limelight for so long.
