  • @Bagelboy615 its not a movie, Orchard Keeper, yet. Cormac McCarthy's stories are all written to made into great movies. 'Outer Dark' would be a twisted adventure! A movie about brother sister having a child in a dirt poor world. That book gave me the creeps!

  • Feels like a play.

  • @Bluecloudandrew It was originally a play that became adopted to film. <3

  • 'The Orchard Keeper' would make a hell of a flick if someone had the balls to take it on

  • @Briananddutch Challenge accepted!

  • Thanks! glad its still up

  • hey thanx for taking the bullet for the enjoyment of the rest of us .

  • Samuel Jackson is totally channeling his character from Pulp Fiction.

  • YESSS! Thank you for uploading!

  • The DVD release had FINALLY been announced for early February! I'll be pre-ordering.

  • I just read the script to this and felt I really needed to see it acted out. Thanks for posting this.

  • one of the realest movies on the planet

  • watch this while ur high for all my smokers out there. amazing shit, understood

  • Picture is a little stretched. Minor thing. It's been almost a year and this damn thing still hasn't come out on DVD! What're you doing HBO?

  • I think Cormac McCarthy's Christian Philospy is very interesting. In my opinion he's one of the most interesting philosphers of our time. Reading Blood Meridian, No Country for Old man, The Road and The sunset limited we see a philosophy that we have to make choices in life, every day again. The alternative is an hopeless atheistic Darwinian look at this world. We have to cary the fire and do right in this world.

By the way, I am no Christian and I don't believe in organised religion...

  • @bloemetjen It doesn't have to be necessarily hopeless, and I don't think that's a point that Cormac is trying to make. I think he's doing something else when concerning belief: how we can be driven to extremes, and it doesn't have to be in a physical sense. Just how it eats away at us.

Not a sophisticated comment, but that's my interpretation of Cormac. One thing that can be said, is that he masterfully and gently leaves it open for interpretation.

  • you forgot to tag 'existential dread'

  • 9:16 background thunder lol damn I could just pick this shit apart, I really do love this film.

  • 6:55 zoom out slightly. It's pretty subtle but it's definitely felt. I could go on about what it could possibly mean but I'd rather leave it open from here.

  • I can't stop wondering y white wrote 4720 • 74! lol

  • Thank you very much for posting this.

  • @AdamskaHaven Glad I could share the wealth. ^_^

  • The whole of the movie is an allegory (the expression by mean's of symbolic fictional figures and actions of truths or generalizations about human nature ). Further it's about Good and Evil having a dialogue embodied in the forms of Samuel L. Jackson and the Tommy Lee Jones characters. It seems as if the whole of the cosmos has collapsed in on itself as to be encompassed within the geographical boundaries of that kitchen. Deeeep movie. LOVED IT!

    Thank you Bagelboy615

  • @wisdomtrek Good and Evil?! 0 _ o

  • @wisdomtrek Ya, explain how one character represents good and the other represents evil. How can you say that either represents evil? Lastly, define the terms good and evil (which should actually be first).

  • This was a really good movie.

  • loved the tags

  • The tags are awesome.

  • @TheZairae Lmfao, glad someone other than a friend or two noticed the tags.

  • I watched this play live at a 20 person theater once; it was one of the best performances I have ever seen

  • How do you stretch/widen the picture?

  • mccarthy is the man

  • 3 cheers for bagelboy!!!! HIP HIP....

  • @namesuser1590 *throws a few chairs*

  • @namesuser1590 HORRAY! (i'm a bit late)

  • Wow Bagelboy615 thx so much for this upload. I've seen it once on HBO but lately they haven't been showing it so much. Not on DVD that I know of yet either. This movie is just two men sitting in a room having a conversation, but is more powerul than most movies w/ a budget in the hundreds of millions. This movie has the power to really make you reexamine your life and beiliefs.

  • @loserguy1022

Have you seen 12 angry men? It's 12 men in a room talking the whole movie.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy No but I just looked it up, looks pretty cool. I'll give it a watch.

  • @loserguy1022 i agree completely.

  • @UTMR117 :)

  • Only two characters in one room for nigh on two hours, just... talking?

    Yes.

This is up there in my favorites. It might actually be at the top. I absolutely love this movie.

  • @GaaraFangirl117 Indeed. Oh, and you know what? I live in the same house as you. (muaahahahaaa i'm a stalker)

  • Anyone know where can i download free audiobook?

  • @jasamnepismen Torrents.

  • thanks bagel, your right

  • Thank You! M

  • Further chronicles of Jules Winnfield.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the upload!
