In some episode a scientist is looking up Lan/Ran Asuka background on the computer and shows up her picture and list gender as male.

Ryo Asuka's been taken heavy doses of estrogen in Devil Man Lady to be Ran/Lan.

"Asuka Lan, Ultimate bitch of anime" In my opinion is an understatement. Asuka Lan was manipulative, self centered and evil (much like Aizen from Bleach but I say she was much worse).

I was truly upset when Kasume was killed.

I always wondered what would happen if Devil lady and Devil man Teamed up some how and even fight each other at some point. Do you think GO Nagai would like the Idea, whoisyouraniume?

Well, if you read the manga, Devilman does appear in the Devil Lady books. I don't remember if they fight each or fight but one things for sure, he is in those books.

He appears in the anime though. I was hoping they would do a small team up- but he wasnt a major character there. he was helping a group of evolved girls out from time to time, and helped them escape later.

If you're referring to who I think you're referring to (Takeshi), I think more that he was meant to be a cameo of Devilman, since Akira Fudo himself does not appear in the Devil Lady anime (at least not referred to by name, and not appearing exactly as he does in the Devilman manga). But you're right, in human form he does pass more than a passing resemblance to Akira Fudo, and looks somewhat similar to Akira as Devilman in beast form.

Well, the devilman tv series is a very old show. Not to mention that devilman did not have any appeal to all audiences outside of Japan. That's just a theory/possibility.
