@Romi5422 It's to show two diffirent events and what they lead to, thats what the entire film is about. It keeps within the Conventions of a Media Theorist but I cant remember his name.

@Romi5422 That's the the movie's about: Her life splits in 2, and we see how her life continures and developes in both ways. It's shown how the absence of a single event can lead to such a dramatic difference between a life where it happened, and one where it never did. If the girl hadn't been blocking her way, she'd have caught it. If the girl had been blocking, she wouldn't have. And now we get to see what an impact this tiny thing has on her life by being shown BOTH lives. Love this idea :)

the subs are also great for times when the music is copyrighted so it cuts the sound for the clip happens all the time so you are left with no dialogue unless you can read lips not the easiest thing to do.

I think the movie companies feel like people won't buy the movie which is bull-I bought this on vhs for full retail, and I'll probably buy it used on dvd because the movie is so old that most retailers don't even carry it (even if they did I would buy it used) The companies should learn this sparks interest in their movies.

@meowsha it's good to know that there are people out there who actually care. My little sister is deaf and blind and people treat her harshly in their attempt to not treat her differently. It's ruined Lu's life and I'm glad to see that there are some people with empathy in this world.
