  • wow those are almost bald. I have the same in 44" (14.50 R20)

they are designed as a mud tire for military vehicles. Michelin says "self cleaning tread pattern with buttressed shoulders delivers enhanced traction in the mud."

I'm thinking of siping mine to cut the tread to look more like boggers. I think the blocks are too big for mud!

  • @aandrave

Those are pretty worn, but I need them for desert sands and rocky grounds in Sahara, and they are just perfect for that. They're way too bald for mudding, and even if they weren't, I don't think they could match boggers or other M/T tires.

You have 44" on what vehicle?

  • @Ipsilonn They probably won't be as good as boggers but I got 4 44's with great tread for $600 us. Mine aren't on anything yet but I'm building a 77 F250 supercab long bed with a 10" lift that they will be used on.

  • where did u get these???

  • Got them from some used tires depot in Belgium. It's a tyre made for the military and you can only get them used for a reasonable price. Prices of new tires are impossible.

  • The GR has approx. 6 cm suspension lift (Old Man Emu) and 5 cm body lift. These tyres are meant for driving in the Sahara - they are supposed to float on the sand and be strong enough not to puncture on rocks and dry wooden branches. I haven't tested them in mud, if I do, I might record it :)

  • how high is your lift?? how do you find the skinny tyres in deep mud?? cheers mate, nice wagon
