Lee, I've read about a technique Rheo Blair had to cook eggs where you'd heat water up to 180-185 degrees and leave the eggs in at that temperature for 25 minutes. Was this actually a technique of Blair's? If so, did it leave the egg liquid or solid inside?
Yes, from what I have read this was Rheo's technique. The purpose was to eliminate the potential bacteria while at the same time retaining the amino acids and nutriments in their purest state possible. Depending on the amount of time used, the eggs will be most likely in a semi-solid form, or near raw.
According to common thought, avidin and the B-Complex vitamin Biotin are bound together rendering biotin ineffective. This could very well be why Blair used this method of cooking the egg to activate biotins potential. But he also advocated using raw eggs mixed in Blair's Protein but then again most trainers where also taking B-Complex.
Ignore the uninformed nay-sayers. The contents of this is spot-on.
BTW Neither came first. Chickens produce chickens. Fish produce fish. Horses produce horses. The egg, of whatever kind, is just an intermediate step in the cycle of reproduction. The question is a non-sequitur (does not follow) predicated on the false assumption of a non-cyclical or linear relationship (just for those interested in intellectual conundrums hehe ;) )
Thanks MadMax for your compliment. I tend to take a stance towards Gods creation as a starting premise. Inother words it takes a male and female Chicken to first exist from creation to then begin the cycle of reproduction. I'm sure most scientists will disagree but that is my stance anyways. Thanks for stopping by.
I wasn't aware, thanks for the info. The real "Goldmine" is in the knowledge gained towards Bodybuilding success. But now that you mention it, was thinking about a darker shade of grey, but thanks for asking.
Back in the 60's and 70's , Blair was called a crackpot from coming up wih his ideas. But something wonderful happend which was well documented. Hargainers who failed using every available diet program started to gain muscle and strength using Blair's ideas. Perhaps if you take the time to learn tried and true ideals concerning Blair, you can be all the wiser for it. Believe me this is worth learning.

Ah, but I'm not so scared of the bacteria. What's your position on avidin and biotin?
