I HATE THE HAIRCUT!! I wish Susan's hair was as short and pretty as Sharon! Susan's hair is too short and looks like a boy and even worse, it looks like the haircut of a mental patient!! In the newer version, Lindsay had a very pretty haircut which was short but very pretty and girly.

I think for the second to last shot, the split is down the middle of the mirror. From left to right a take of first take Haley Mills reflection, screen split, second take Haley Mills reflection, Susan Henning (see the longer neck?), Haley Mills.

Ok. 1st of all this is the 1st Parent Trap with Hayley Mills not the 2nd. this one was made in 1961 and the lindsey lohan one was made in 1998. and the 2nd version with hayley mills was when she was already 30.

2nd version of this movie (with Lindsey Lohan) was ok but I like this version A LOT more.

and I agree, her hair looked better long but it was the style for that era, so.... yeah.

The over-shoulder shots used Susan Henning as a double for Haley Mills. It would have been bluescreen in 1960, but I don't believe there are any actual bluescreen shots in this film. There are SPLIT screen shots, but I don't think they had any real composite shots. The singing in the park scene seems to be a rear projection shot.

The faces you see ARE the same actress. Not twins. And there was a double to play the back of her head and over-the-shoulder shots. The only time you see the double's face is when it's covered in cake after the fight scene.
