So I see that I was not the first to have 2 players get 3 Whammies in the first round. (See Game 3 of my NYAF 2010 video.) And 8 total?! Error or no, that is an insane record. Only thing that would have made it worse is if, like me, one of the 3-Whammy players kept getting put on the spot before the round was over.
Lol... loved how the whammy called in... when I read the caption about the mistake, I thought it was going to be a redo of the famous "Silvester" incident from the show.
@erikdraven1731 It was much simpler than that; we accidentally swapped the players' buzzers on each end and gave Rachel credit for a question we shouldn't have. We threw that question out but her spin total should have been 4 instead of 5 for round one. It had an impact on the end result, which is why we invited both players back for a future game. Now prior to each show we have each player ring in to make sure we don't repeat that mistake.
@erikdraven1731 As for the whammy calling in, one of my friends called me (not realizing I was at a con) at that moment. I didn't actually answer the phone, but decided to play it up for laughs and get in my invite to Anime Central (an invite I wound up not being able to accept).
I remeber we all did the Whamy dance lol. it was great :)

And to think the No-Looker spells disaster for luck pressers!
That was an awesome spin battle, as well.
