  • this is sad.. you obviously waste my time trying to find out this stuff.. *sigh*

  • Did you figure out how to put a bookmark on the bookmarks bar? I dont know how! Frustrating.

  • I use Safari all the time , today I got Chrome ((4.0.249.30)) and it is really fast and beautiful I just don't know yet about stability .

thanks for the video pal .

  • What version of safari are you using at the beginning??

  • It's safari 4 beta, note, only the beta has tabs on top

  • Terrible review.. Try figuring out how to use the software before you hit record.

  • Dude, blow your nose before you make a video...kinda gross hearing you sniffing all that gunk....

  • @Starbuckfsd LOL I thought it's a weird kind of laugh at first

  • flash works now :D

  • seriously worthless

  • not really

  • Is there a link for the Tiger OS? As Every installation says it isn't compatible with my version of OS X

  • sorry, no. it's not much of a browser anyways, safari 4 works on tiger and is the world's fastest browser.

  • @SnowLeopard2008 ironic. now Chrome is the world's fastest browser, and has just as many features as Safari (more in fact).

  • Every source I've found says that, so far, Chrome for Mac is only compatible with Leopard.

  • Nahh is works with Snow leopard too but don't know about Tiger

  • Snow Leopard wasn't out yet, but Chrome does work on SL. It's still missing features, though. For example, Bookmarks Menu vs. Bookmarks Toolbar. They are one and the same in Chrome, but not in any other OS X browser.

  • Great video. Unfortunately, it's Intel only. Seems like PPC is very very quickly coming to a halt. No Snow Leopard for PPC, and no Chrome for PPC. Plenty of new apps are Intel only as well. Kinda sad to be left behind on my G4s.

  • PPC is not in deathrow. IBM uses PPC chips for medical appliances and smaller applications.

  • Yeah, and Microsoft uses it in the Xbox 360, but it is pretty much going to be out of the desktop computing area in a few years since Apple is going Intel-only.

  • really? i'm not much of a gamer, thnx for the info.

  • yeah, I was surprised when I heard it too. They use a 3GHz PPC, idk what kind of PPC it is though.

  • holy! thats really fast and will run really hot. even intel 3ghz chips are like ovens, and intel makes them low-power, low-heat.

  • Yeah, I was amazed too. I'm more amazed that my PC with an AMD processor at 1.8GHz (and I bought it last year? RIP OFF! lol) gets up to 180F a lot, yet my Intel Dell laptop from 2003 rarely gets over 120F. My PowerBook with a G4 usually idles around 100F and doesn't get over 150F.

  • So would that mean that you could run OS X on an XBox 360?

  • no!

  • Lol 土豆网.

  • The big question, Safari Beta vs Chrome Beta?

I have chrome it seems to be faster, and the interface is actually smarter, but I much prefer Safari for now. Maybe when released for shiz.

  • yoyo5280

safari 4 is no longer in beta :)

  • Most of the features dont even work. Its not even in beta yet

  • negative zeta lol

  • Firewall problem maybe?

  • Thanks for the link!

  • what's not working? can't display, can't install, etc?

  • jon4lakers made a video and has a link to a download as well

  • yup, that's right.

  • if its asking to much, i understand, but would you mind subscribing. i think having more subscribers would be enough motivation to make more videos.

  • sorry, you have to earn subscribers. make a video going over WWDC and you'll get a few at the very least. when I just started, I did unboxings, reviews and videos about new stuff that just was released.
