  • she was a beautiful girl just gone too soon..thanks for your kind words..i wish you many years of happiness with your shep ...

  • sorry for your loss; I swear many of her facial expressions are exactly the same as my own GSD.

  • When we love our pet, it doesn't matter if he/she has problems or not, it's always sad when we lose them...

I had one dog since my 3 years old, he passed away on 9/4/08 on month before my bday, we bought two dogs, but we always miss him. ..

  • when did she die and how old shes very cute like my gsd sophie

  • Rosie was humanely put down on August 1,2007 after just turning 3 due to the suffering she endured due to cancer and severe hip dyplasia..she is still dealry missed by all that loved her except for her breeder over at kelby german shepherds...

  • Second verse Take me to where my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end. And hold me firm and speak to me Until my eyes no longer see. I know in time you will agree It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain and suffering, I have been saved. Don't grieve that it must now be you Who has to decide this thing to you. We've been so close - we two - these years, Don't let your heart hold any tears.
  • First Verse IF IT SHOULD BE If it should be that I grow frail and weak, And pain does keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done From this - the last battle - can't be won. You will be sad I understand But don't let grief then stay your hand For on this day, more than the rest Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer so. When the time comes, please, let me go.
  • Saw your video today, it was heartbreaking to hear about Rosie. Fortunately my beloved German Shepherd, Heidi, came from a wonderful breeder, I had Heidi for thirteen and a half years, I lost her on 4.9.2007, she had a stroke, it was all over in 30 seconds. Not a day has passed since that I haven't shed a tear for her, just miss her so much. I feel your loss, believe me.

  • Im so saddened to hear of your loss..no matter when its time for a beloved pet to leave us..the pain is still none the same..im happy you got to spend so many wonderful years with Heidi..and that you came across a wonderful breeder unlike i did. Thank you for taking the time to view Rosie's video and for your kind words..the poem you sent was so beautiful..im still crying as i type this..thank you so much...

  • i cryed when i saw this video.

  • hey amy, i feel so bad for u. i luv this video. my heart goes out to u, rosie, and your family. by the way, this is meranda.

  • Lovely tribute to a beautiful GSD...i try to educate ppl on buying the right GSD from the right breeder...and i to know the pain you are going through due to lossing 1 of my GSD's Emma last yr...it still hurts...but she is in a better place...my other GSD Kimba is nearly 14 i have been lucky with her!

Your GSD was far to young to be taken...we only have the memories of those who pass...they are never forgotten.

Think of her running and playing at Rainbow Bridge.

My thoughts are with you x

  • Today makes 1 year that Rosie has passed. The people that loved her are still as hurt and sad today as we were last year at this time. You are so right when you say all we have left are the memories and they can never be forgotten. My heart goes out to you over your loss as well.Thank you so much for the kind words on such a somber day.

  • Ir hurts to lose someone that was so close to you... trust me, i lost my dog sandy about 4 or 5 years ago... and i still think of her, and it hurts just to see her in homevideos or photos... but just remember, shes in a better place now and she will always be there for you during the hardest times of your life... r.i.p Rosie <3

  • I agree so much with what u say...im so sorry for ur loss as well..the emptiness they leave behind unspeakable..but seeing her free of pain is the only consolation the ppl loved her have..thank you for taking the time to view Rosie's video..she will always be loved and missed...

  • MY HART GOES OUT TO U

  • thank u so much for ur kind words and for taking the time to watch the video of rosie...your loss is heartbreaking,my heart goes out to you as well

  • this vido is amazing, it so touching

i lost my german shepherd when he was only a pup in a car accedent, i sorry of your loss

  • I lost my own german shepherd, Shelby, on Friday. I was lucky to have nearly 12 wonderful years with her. The pain is incredible and my heart goes out to you. I am a veterinary nurse and have had the unfortunate job of meeting many dogs, who have been born to breeders with no scruples. I will not put into writing what I think of them and suffice to say they should be brought down! My girl died of cancer of the stomach, that had spread to her chest. Enjoy every minute with them,it's never enough.

  • Sometimes its not noticeable that a dog has hip dysplasia. I didnt realise something was wrong with my Sebastian until he refused to jump the hurdles at Flyball. He was showing signs at an early age though, he used to walk one foot in front of the other, I thought nothing of it at the time because my sisters Siberian Husky did the exact same thing

  • Who sings the first and last songs?

  • first verse...

If it should be that I grow frail and weak, and pain should keep me from my sleep,

  • those were the most touching words i have ever read, made me cry....thank you for leaving it here on my page...

  • how can we understand that a german shepherd has Dysplasia?Do you have other pictures of your dog?Because i think that my GSD puppy has a body problem..

  • I don't know where you are but in england you can get a dog hip scored at 1 years old onwards this tells you what score they are at. What makes you think your pup has a problem with it's hips?

  • Her legs..I had a lot of relation with puppies and adult dogs but my dog's legs, hip and the position of the tail are bizarre.

  • You could take her to a animal chiropratic or your vet. They would be able to tell you if there is anything wrong. I have a 10 month old GSD boyo and i give him one table of gelsemium a day. Helps with his joints since he's still growing. Hope this helps in any way.

  • I'm going to take her to a vet clinic in this week.

  • I had my male shepherd xrayed at 6 months because he was limping and was in pain.He as well has hip dysplasia, not to the severity rosie had. They make me give him synovi g3 soft chews and he has been a different dog ever since. Its worth looking into if it can help and its not really expensive and can be purchased online or at your local vet.

  • RIP Rosie, and I'm very sorry for your loss God Bles you. this video made me cry, it's so terrible how could somebody breed dogs with the chance of them have deadly health issues like this?

  • Sadly, its done more often than we realize, they turn their backs on 1 of their very own puppies they bred with no emotion for the animal or devestated owner.I dont speak for all breeders because their are many that do it for the love of the breed, its just 1 like this breeder that should be stripped of the privledge of breeding such a lovely breed of dog.Thank you so much for taking the time to view this video of rosie, she still is and forever will be missed by those who loved her.

  • OMG I cried so bad when I saw this You Tube of Rosie! I just lost by boy Samson this year. You did an AWESOME TRIBUTE. I hope your next Shepherd fills the void. There is no dog like a German Shepherd. Whatever you do don't stop now.

My new boy Major is just as amazing...Enjoy the hours.

  • thank you so much for your kind words...i wish you many years of joy and happiness with your new Shepeherd..=)

  • We lost our girl two weeks ago two Leukemia.. Even with chemo, it was so aggressive that we only had 28 days. I've uploaded a video of my girl "working".

There's no ryhme nor reason to cancer. Here's to a day when it can be effectively cured.

  • my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time..cancer is not discriminitive to any living thing but the scars it leaves behind are too great ...i agree with you...HERE'S TO THAT DAY!

  • Rosie was a beautiful girl. I lay here on a futon mattress next to the whelping box where my little girl, Dixie, has presented us with three beautiful babies. I love my breeder, Christy Heiman, Eau Claire, WI, she was very supportive in our choice of Dixie and her half-brother - Dude - who we had to put down because of some attitude problems a few weeks ago - the circle of life is fulfilled with this litter. I hope you find a GREAT GSD to help fill some of the void Rosie left.

  • I dont know if it will ever be possble to have that void filled ever again, but id like to hope that someday i can find the love in my heart for another GSD that i had for her.Can you please let me know about your breeder? Any information would be appreciated.I wish you alot of luck, love and happiness with your new litter.Thank you for leaving a comment.

  • Bless you video made me cry. R.I.P rosie . such a great gsd

  • She was great..she is so missed..thank you for your comment..

  • :( So sad. Rosie was beautiful. I can't imagine losing my GSD. My heart goes out to you.

  • Its still so hard without her,her memories are everywhere i go,thank you for your kind words.

  • I'm sorry about Rosie. I lost my dog Sid after a 6-month battle with osteosarcoma. I had him for 13 years, but it still wasn't enough time. I had to put Sid to sleep Nov. 27, 2007 adn my wife and I still aren't over it yet.Maybe if you remember the things Rosie did that made you smile or laugh, maybe that will be something that will make you feel better. Good luck and take care.

  • I lost my male collie to prostate cancer 3 days ago 9/13/07 also..life doesent seem fair at all at times..im thankful the breeder of my collie was a warm, compassionate, woman who helped me get through it...unlike the cold,evil-hearted witch that bred Rosie...my heart goes out to you and your wife for the loss of your dog..even time cant take away the pain..GOD BLESS

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. It was a lovely video. and Rosie was beautiful. I lost my great pyrenees, Malcolm, to osteosarcoma last year and my heart goes out to you.

  • i know even though time passes the loss and hurt is always there...my heart goes out to you as well

  • really sad, my cat died and i used to spend every single moment with her, check out my video.

    Sorry for your lose.

  • the passing of any pet is like losing part of your life...so sorry for your loss and i will go look at your video.Thank you for viewing mine..God bless..

  • the more i watch this video the more i want that breeder shut down.....her gaurantee is so extensive to just benefit her only...why would anyone be so stupid to buy a puppy from this woman?

  • The ASPCA should step in and shut this woman down for doing what she is doing. She is running nothing more than a covered up version of a puppy mill. Hidden by a bogus guarantee, and giberish. She can't even make statements that coinside with other statements in her own guarantee. Saying in one breath " no return of pup required" then comming back with "the pup must be fixed and returned to Kelby" What one is it you heartless hag? STOP BREEDING!

  • This woman has no right breeding those 2 dogs at risk of developing more animals with the same sickness. Is that not animal cruelty? She knows what happened here yet she is still breeding the 2 dogs? Why? MONEY!!! No other reason would a person breed the parents of this animal. A responsible breeder would fix the 2 to be sure the never breed again! I hope all reading this will voice thier opinion about this poor act of breeding!

  • It has been brought to my attention that the horrible breeder of this dog is emailing people here who have left comments. Please disregaurd any emails from a viperk9jmb(or whatever other names she goes under trying to make herself look reputable). The extents this woman will go to,to even ruin a tribute made for this dog upsets me greatly. She's a very sick, evil, woman that obviously cant handle the truth about what she breeds.Sorry everyone for the inconvienence this worthless woman causes.

  • I am so sorry to hear of your recent loss.Sadly some breeders dont invest the time to do the proper research on the dogs they breeding and this too often is the end result..saying goodbye to beloved pet too soon. They do need to make the laws more firm on breeders that only breed for money..and these breeders should be held responsible and liable for pain and suffering not only for the animal but for the owners as well...

  • There should be laws introduced on breeding dogs to prevent dogs from this needless suffering. My German Shepherd Sebastian had to be put to sleep on 08/08/07. He had severe hip dysplasia on both hind legs

  • I am so sorry to hear about the loss of this beautiful dog. It is ashamed that breeders like this exist. The greed is too much of a temptation for them to think about the real reason for breeding, and that would be the animal it's self. I was looking at puppies on this breeders site and am glad I came accross this and other internet pages listed about Rosie. It made me change my mind very quickly. I hope all people interested in German Shepherds learn from this. Thanks again.

  • I AM WITH YOU ON THAT 1! 11 years may have passed but the pain and loss never goes away..

  • I am so sorry for your loss. I too have gone through the pain of losing a beautiful dog before she should have. She ended up with a birth defect due to the breeder cross breeding. Of course, the breed "conveniently" disappeared. She kept moving around, & I finally gave up. I miss my girl terribly. That was eleven years ago.

My heart goes out to you. May we all ban together & work towards putting these HORRIBLE breeders OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

  • so sad

    **hugs**

  • Sadly,Rosie the German Shepherd in this video has died today 8/1/07 of cancer. She will be missed more than words can say.

  • obviously kelby german shepherds is using multiple names and accounts in attempt to post falsified feedback about this situation. All attempts of her trying to downplay this horrific ending to Rosie's short life will be REMOVED!Perhaps if she were any kind of a breeder she would just do whats fair and come to an agreement with the owner..partial credit IS NOT a form of compensation....

  • what a beautiful dog,the video was so sad....that breeder at Kelby German Shepherds is a sick woman that shouldent even be involved in breeding GSD'S.If she cant admit she is at wrong here than i would advise EVERYONE NOT TO BUY A GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPY FROM THIS PERSON..doesent even care about the animals she breeds what a bitch...

  • This video is for the memory of Rosie..... all negative posts from her horrible breeder from Kelby German Shepherds in Walworth Wisconsin trying to make herself and her pound look good will be REMOVED!

  • Beautiful sable! So sorry for your loss - GSDs are so overbred these days it is hard to find a healthy one. What's even harder is that they're all wonderful. I love my girl and I am thankful for each day I spend with her. May your girl rest in peace and I hope you never lose faith in the breed. (Please don't hesitate to e-mail me about bloodlines.)

  • I thank God for letting me have Baby, a female shepherd for almost 16 years when she passed away peacfully in her sleep after a year of dying slowly from cancer. She was medicated throughout with pain medication and seemed comfortable although I had to help her up the stairs in the last months. She was my joy and miss her so. My sympathies. It is terrible what people do for a buck through ignorance and just plain indifference to suffering.

  • its always sad when a pet dies..my heart goes out to you...16 years is a long time..but it never quite seems long enough...im so sorry for ur loss.

  • Oh she is so awsome. I literally bawled my head off watching the video. What a beautiful girl. I am so sorry for your loss.

I lost my black lab not to long ago and I thought I was going to die, but I am still here and I miss him terribly.

  • Thank you for your comment and taking the time to view my video.Sorry for the loss of your black lab...i know they say with time it gets easier but those who have lost a pet know you can NEVER forget them or replace them...

  • Very sad, have one myself.

  • thank you for taking the time to view my video...
