A Little background on Gary Barlow. Obviously you saw his introduction, but what they didn't says was that he has his own management company, record label and production company. He's one of the UK's most successful song writers of all time, as well a highly respected producer. With Take That and as a solo artist he's racked up 13 no.1 singles, over 40 top 40 hits, 8 no 1 albums, 8 Brit awards, and 5 Ivor Novellos. Take That are the most successful British band in history after the Beatles.
He is exceptionally passionate about music, and well known for his seriousness (a reputation that got him branded as "boring" in the late 90's and killed his solo career). I seriously recommend you look into Take That and their music. I know they're not known in the US but that's by their choice. The US is pretty much the only place in the world they have left where they can go to get away from their rather obsessive fans! They do most of their writing/recording in the US now for that reason.

the papers have said the new judge lineup works and that as the show progresses the new judges cme out of their shell more. The problem with UK talent shows is that producers always want a novelty act in the final although the viewers do not want them really. Im from Ireland and I really liked Janet Devlin from Northern Ireland only thing is because she's so shy Im worried she will crack under pressure. Hopefully she'll manage because she has a nice voice but if she got to the live shows I dont know if she would cope. We'll just have to see.

Janet, the little girl who sang the Elton John song, is from Ireland, she was ahhh mazing, such an endearing personality & talent to match--she's my favorite. Gary Barlow is from one of the biggest boy bands in the UK called Take That .
Tulisa is also from a band called N-Dubz . They are a British hip hop group.
Kevin,you really have to listen to Cheryl Cole.Not only is she from the UK and huge over there,but she is also huge in Europe and Ireland ! Taio Cruz,Ellie Goulding,Jessie J,Tinie Tempah,Example,N-Dubz,Adele and Chipmunk are all great British artists.

in the UK our clubs stay open till like 6am in the morning whereas in america they close by 1/2am... so we can watch xfactpr and still go out ;)

Louis is a buttercup he manages 2 of biggest males groups west life and i think boy zone don't quote me that, and has several ones. the papers have said the new judge lineup works and that as the show progresses the new judges cme out of their shell more. The problem with UK talent shows is that producers always want a novelty act in the final although the viewers do not want them really. Did you notice Heshima - he was one of Amy Winehouse backing singers. with a voice he has I do wonder why he was doing backup

@Immabfree Ok, it's "lip sync" not "lip sing"...and Kelly Rowland has been in the business for years and is still around, that obviously counts for something...Most artists who start in a group fade into nowhere when the "lead" goes solo...Not to mention EVERYONE lip syncs at some point...I have seen plenty of live performances from Kelly (DC and solo) that prove she is worth her salt
