  • cool nice vd thx :)

  • @slovakia-make sure youre on the administrator acc:)

  • PLS help me!!! when i install XP mode it writes "The virtual machine configuration could not be created. User does not have sufficient access rights." :,(

  • Windows XP FTW~~

  • Wait! Do you need a windows xp cd?

  • @crzy4MAC12 No if you have win 7 pro the license comes with the download.

  • do i need a virus programm in the windows xp mode?

  • @Hugajohan If your going to be using it alot, yes.

  • @grpace k thanks i have it now

  • Wow, I almost bought a whole new version of Windows 7 to do gaming on Windows XP Mode, but thanks to you I made the right decision. Thank you.

  • @lilwarthog

32bit and 64bit is not anything to do with memory, it is amounts of code that the processor can interact with at any given time. I have 64bit ultimate on an system (E2140 and 2gb ram) it works much faster. However it can work with more ram as well. But don't be put off by the ram, 4gb is thought to be a base but that's what idiots say, 64bit whether it is 51/mb or 192gb is in no way determined by ram

  • I have started using Windows 7 for around a week now and it truly is amazing. If anyone wants it, you could get a hold of it from Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) totally free.

  • Everyone, if you are using removeal wat, you need to restore wat to beable to download the files

  • This is sweet, I cant wait to get home and but this bad boy on my ultimate :)

Ill be puting on vb6. And I got a question, I want to go to 64 bit and get a bunch more ram I have a question. my motherboard can only hold 2 gigs of ram, and its a 32 bit. What should I get if I want to go to 64, and that I can put 9 gig of ram?

  • @lilwarthog When you switch to 64bit you will need to do a complete fresh install. If you motherboard only holds 2gb of ram thats all your going to be able to have. Theortically you could put as much ram as you would like up to 192gb.

  • @grpace Thanks for explaining it better for me. If I was going to get another motherboard, can you tell me a very good one less than $600?

  • @lilwarthog lmao 9gb ram, well done for wasting your money

  • @TOMMY95215 lol your right your only use to playing club penguin on your 10 year old piece of shit computer... so I dont think so. Its worth it

  • @lilwarthog actualy i bought my laptop few months back. and i dont play club penguin. also there is no need to be such a jerk i was just saying you wasted your money on spending hundreds for unneccesary stuff

  • @TOMMY95215 Oh, sorry bro. I guess I was just being a dick. Sorry bout that. What laptop you get?

  • @lilwarthog Acer aspire 5732z came with windows 7 :) a good 4gb ram and a 1.5tb hard drive 3.20ghz. Whatbout you my friend

  • I did all things right but it found a problem that sonething at BIOS is disabled but I can't find what! And I downloaded a Microsoft's program to see if my CPU supports the Virtual PC and it says NO!!! WTF! I have the new AMD Athlon II X4 620 2,6 GHz! And most CPU's after 2006, can run the Virtual PC! SHIT!

  • I just did a quick google and it looks like the x4 620 does have virtuization. It might be a motherboard issue.

  • @grpace Maybe... I was very surprised when I saw this message for my CPU! I'll reinstall it an other day...

  • Would XP mode work with a USB foot pedal? I do medical transcription and a lot of the software requires XP. I use a food pedal to control play/pause/stop audio with a transcription program. Anyone know if I can use the foot pedal with XP mode?

  • 0:43 I hate home premium

  • So i have 7 64bit home edition can i downlaod?

  • Unfortunately no.

  • @DiSpuTeAnDiWiN just get an update or an iso.

  • Comment removed

  • Can you move files from windows 7 to windows xp? does the xp window recognize your usb ports? if you add more memory it should be much faster? is the xp pro?

does it have Remote Desktop Connection on the xp?

  • @nxk6264 Yeah the xp mode can see all of your windows 7's files and folders and yes it can recognize usb ports. And yeah it should be faster if you add memory also it is xp pro and it should have remote desktop.

  • NO, microsoft virtual pc (xp mode) doesn't have the capability to see usb ports, unlike VMWare

  • No... it can see usb ports as I have done it before...

  • wow.. strange, usb problem was the reason I prefer vmware over ms virtualpc, which was officially stated by MS for vpc 2007. looks like this is not the exact 2007 version. thanks for noticing.

  • @Freak810 No problem

  • where is the cursor

  • @bvestationfan I apologize I accidentally set it to not record cursor.

  • Virtual Box is the only virtual machine application that fully utilizes your video card. So you can use something like Compiz Fusion in Virtual Box, even though VMWare won't let you do that. It has complete control over your video card. So in theory, you'd be able to have some great gaming fun :D

    Nice video.

  • Yeah suns virtual box wont be nearly as fast as a the os though so dont do any hardcore gaming. But that is a completely differnt product that xp mode. with virtual box you would need a full copy win xp to run it and then you wouldnt have the option to run apps w/o starting virtual machine.

I used to use virtual box for windows 2000 a little while ago when I couldn't get hotwheels stunt track driver to run on vista :D lol

  • virtualbox isnt close to vmware, vmware supports aero and has the cool Xp Mode like Unity function

  • Also, props to Microsoft for giving away a copy of XP for free with XP mode!

  • thanks man this is what i needed

  • Very nice video man! Thanks
