income gap issues are more worthy of a debate rather than freedom of expression.

freedom of expression are important but a widening gap between low-income and super rich are bigger issues.

in fact, getting uni students alone would hardly give a wholistic image of the macro issues - potentially these people come from the elite pool.

Aljazeera caters to Muslims all over the world so they only show Muslims.

You must realize that Singapore is hard up of Arab money so must put show some Muslim faces. If they want US money, they will show 9/11 tragedy. If you have lots of money the Singapore govt. welcomes you.

Don't take Ritz Khan seriously, he gets to to do Aljazeera because he is Muslim. Ritz Khan is more suitable to appear in THE GOON SHOW.

aljazeera hires a whole lot of non musilms, look at the famous sir david frost, its more unbiased then any major news networks. And why shouldnt an org allow riz khan, he has so much experience like all other aljazeera news anchors from BBC or CNN. And muslims need a voice otherwise all non muslims will think badly of us, you need 2 points of the discussion not only the fox news western neo con backed view.

In any case Singapore is a nice place that seems pretty cool with each others races and is economicly doing very good so don't see to much of a problem with singapore anyway wonder why they had this program on anyway but i guess i enjoyed learning about new places anyway

75% of "Singaporians" are Chinese yea that is due to the fact that they all immgrated there on mass under british occupation, before the british malay muslims were there and had were a majortiry of the population, so i don't know why some people on here are complaing about there being a few muslims on this program when back beofore the british singapore was mainly mayla muslim anyway.

lol, there were 3 muslims in the audience and they mentioned their being muslims. The tamil/chinese girl, the tamil girl in the front and the chinese boy were non-muslims wheras the malay girls and chinese girl in the front were muslims. Maybe their religion was more important to them or the fact that the hijab question came up put religion at the forefront. The other guests didn't think it was necessary to talk about their being Buddhist.

75% of "Singaporians" are Chineses, but only one of the audiences are chineses. There is no serious ethnic or religious issues in Singapore anyways, but the host seems to ask many questions that attacks the city state government for no obvious reason. Not perfect, but at least the city has much better freedom and religious tolerance than all muslim nations.
