@lemurjim ....Thanks.I'd happily send tab if I had any but I'm afraid I'm strictly a 'by ear' player and don't read notes or use tablature. For what it's worth it's in D in regular tuning
funny, I listened way back on the 22nd.....you musta lulled me into a stupor,.cause I failed to post comment, that day.....................amazing, Paul....so lovely, a soulful lament--you played it be-ut-i-fully.........enjoyed, and a giggle at the end......a delight;-)........LaurieLee
So sad song, Paul! And you play with great feeling and tone modulation! You really got something in your fingers - more than rough electric blues licks - wonderful, my friend!
Hello again! I am away at the moment in the States and having a sleepless night for some reason - so here I am am - browsing YouTube and listening to your calming tune to help me get back to sleep again. Enjoyed this - thank you! 5 stars and best wishes,
you air the air in the most lovely way, Paul....I'm sure that in thinking, I do not err. a truly melancholy mode.....loved it! say, did my "cholies" rub off on you? LOL!
I didn´t know the tune, but it one of that kind, that catches you deeper and deeper while playing it. The D as Drone, and it´s Scottich, like the bag-pipe (the D). a dropped D would also be fine there.
Great Paul, thanx for introducing something new (for me it´s new), Frank
Wonderful performance!
With its noisy quality it sounds like an old demo tape.
I just love this recording. Thank you very much.
