You seem to have no problem at all with the LP neck heel. Clapton played this on a 335 which is a lot easier because the heel is two frets further up. Did it take you a while to get comfortable with the neck heel? Or am I just a big sissy?
Your are so great. No one plays the true classic music and that's where it all started. Please do not stop people try for a life time and can not play like this.
Nice. You should go to a website called guitarbackingtrack com, they have a backing track for this song with vocals that is pretty damn good and you could play it by yourself without having to play right with Clapton's guitar like that.
calm down buddy. bb kings a senior citizen so he has the right to sit down and old blues players in the 40s and 50 were playin acoustic guitars or just didnt have a strap cuz they were used to sittin down. im just sayin when you stand up you use alot better muscles in your pickin hand and to me gives you more soul
@MrGergen I could just as easily say that only maniacs and posers play standing up. Playing standing allows for a better overall stance, sitting down allows for more control and comfort. It's personal preference, not a set rule that apparently you've got some kind of god-given right to enforce.
Pretty much good stuff, but there is the backing track-the original record? So even if u didn't play a note it would sound pretty good - if u see what I mean
good but you stayed in that scale wayyy too long its was all A pentatonic on the second octave. you can also solo in D which is the relative minor scale. Its breaks up the solo a lot nicer and gets rid of repitiveness
@guitarnlax36 I agree but damn that was good, way better than me and i'm 35! Don't listen to the critics. Music doesn't have to be difficult to sound good! Thats the problem with today's music, so overthinked and produced.
@guitarnlax36 DUDE that WAS NEARLY perfect. awsome. that song is just soo fuckin chunky anyway with catchy riffs. but man, you young as hell too, this was dope! now i'd like to see you rip jimi's "manic depression" :P
@guitarnlax36 Doesn't matter where its played as long as it sound good right? Why over complicate things? Look at Angus's aproach, his hands weren't big enough to shred the fret board so he climbed up the fret board in the boxes and is considered one of the top 100 guitar players of all time.
there is hope for the future..the blues live...keep it up...you have such potential...and the joy?...you are standing on the shoulder of giants...and judging by your playing you know it...wtg!!!!
