Sorry to disappoint, but this hack is dead. I was just starting out and there was a lot of problems with it. I am creating a new hack, though, that is about 65-75% complete. Check out the teaser for it on my channel.
good good, some complaintes in general, 1. lots of people dont like the theme "spikey spikey" or the long bombing and 2. not being able to dodge spore spawn easily, most people like a bit where they can hide and not get hit by him.
Thanks for the reply. After watching my videos again I did see how I was using lots of spikes, so I'll try to change that in future parts. I made spore spawn a lot harder, because I felt I had to do him some justice. Most people skip him when playing for speed or sometimes when going for 100%, so I didn't want people to forget about him. Also, I wanted you to say "Wow, I finally beat that guy!" After you passed him. I even died a couple of times trying to beat him with the lava in the room. :D
These three parts where actually as far as a got before I stopped because nobody was really watching. Since I see more people are watching now though, maybe i'll more some more. Plus there is quite a few bugs that I can't figure out. So to answer your question. Nope, no beta. At least not yet :).
it takes time for people to notice hacks sometimes, a lot of people (including myself) are willing to help people with hacks, so if you do have a question you should ask.
I think I am going to start a completely new hack. The reason is because there is a few areas that are major bugs that I can't fix. Also, I accidentally messed up one of the elevators which no one seems to know how to fix. :( But I don't mind, because I think I want to start over fresh anyway. This first hack was really just a project to see what I could do, and now I think I know most of my limits and how the basics work. :D
well, i guess some advice wont hurt, remember to back up your ROM often, make a folder called backups and every hour copy your ROM to it and rename it to 1, then 2 (and so on) sometimes smile randomly corrupts your ROM so you will always have a backup this way.
