I have been to Prime Time NFL games, SEC and ACC football games between top 10 teams, NBA Playoff games etc.. and I will say.. that this game was the loudest sporting event I have ever attended. The upper deck was shaking... and then poor Brooksy had the worst game of the century... man oh man.. I've never been on such a roller coaster of emotions in my life.

I came the next night too, and got to see Bobby's curtain call..

But something's not quite right here. Brooks Conrad is not the reason why we lost this game. It was Bobby Cox. He never should have left Brooks out there to play the 9th inning. Anybody who knows anything about baseball knows this. I don't care if it's Jair Jurrjens, you can't take the risk of leaving somebody out there who's a defensive liability. And if it has to be Brandon Hicks or Diory Hernandez, then so be it, and if the ball goes thru their legs then it truly wasn't meant to be.

This is literally too painful to watch. I've never seen the actual replay other than live watching the game and I couldn't even hear it anyway. There was only about five of us but it might as well have been five thousand the sound we made. I can only watch it on mute. It's like a dream. It's so amazing, you want to somehow grab a hold of it so you know it's real but then it slips away. Look at it, how much more dreamlike can you get? That sea of red at dusk. Too good to be true.

I was at the first game of the season as well and between Jason Heywards first home run and this homerun by Hinske they were the loudest times I have ever heard Turner Field. i was at this game with the gf and friend.. we all went to opening day and saw Heywards bomb and then this.. i think this place was lit up more this night than Heywards home run. ive been a part of numerous walk offs (including Nate McLouths walk off against Philly this year...5 rows above dugout) and this tops all of em. couldnt believe the game ended the way it did. ive been to about 30 braves games the past 3 yrs and this reaction is exactly like mine was.
