it blows me away all the views his new stuff gets but yet his classic songs, such as this masterpiece, practically go unnoticed. I really think that I would only attend one of his concerts, he does now, just if someone had a free ticket. I don't think I would get into it, too much. I have listened to all his great jams with Rod and Stewart, and of course the days with The Jeff Beck Group. Those were the days, for sure. He's gone to glam for me, these days and I wish he would return to his roots.
I bought this album when it was released 38 years ago at the age of 17...it's beauty it tore at my soul then and still does today. Thanks for bringing it to the masses!
The strings and piano really make this song. It's beautiful. Guitar is not too shabby, either.
