  • damn bro your e36 m3 hooks damn well my m3 spins out the hole and goes sideways when shifting into 2nd. cant wait for tires.

  • Hello!

How did you do in the digital rpm?

  • @Pepehgt5

here's a good site that shows all the neat tricks you can do like the digital tach:

    bmw-m . net/TechProc/ test.htm

    (remove the spaces)

  • check engine light on your bimmer? i know the feeling allll too well ;)

  • what is the top speed can u go?cuz i went up to 140mph and it wont go up to 160?

  • By the way, really nice car. Ive seen you on bimmerforums before.

  • thanks man :)

  • Don't ususally bother looking at US spec M3s. However your one is really awesome. This could hold it's own against a Euro one I think!

  • hah, thanks! i'd love to run a euro spec some time, but it's hard to find one around here.

  • Haha, yeah few and far between mate. Probably cheaper to do the mods you've done, or even supercharge it than it is to buy an S50 and transplant it!

We often put the M50 manifold on 328's over here, adds about 20hp - what kinda power does it add to an S52B32?

  • it's about the same here -- around 20rwhp. it's probably one of the best power adding mods you can do for these cars.

  • i did it to my 328, i dont have any vacume leaks but the car cant whole and jumps between .3 and .5 revs in neutral, and will often stall at stop signs in neutral once i stop.. im pretty sure its my ECU that hasnt adapted even though I was assured it would. im hoping AA software will solve it my clueless ECU.

  • bad ass m3 bro i wish i didnt have to grow up and sell mine=[ you got the 3.0 or 3.2 and us or german motor?

  • thanks man! it's the 3.2 US spec motor.

  • hey, how did you do the weight reduction?! what kind of things did change/take out as im looking to make my E36 as light as possible, thanks

  • removed front seats and installed a single fixed-back driver seat

    removed rear seats

    removed spare wheel/tire

replaced stock battery with a lightweight battery - odyssey pc680

    aftermarket exhaust

    lightweight flywheel/clutch assembly

    1/4 tank of fuel

that got me to 2880lbs. i have since reduced about 20-30lbs more with the addition of lighter wheels.

    hope that helps!

  • thanks for the quick reply, i only have a 316 atm but with some of the reductions that you have done, such as

    removed rear seats

    boot stripped

    removed spare wheel

and an exhaust..well its just a catback straight pipe (definatly doesnt sound like a 4 cylinder anymore!) and altho its not that much i still manage to get 0-60 to around the 10s mark..still slow i know but ive got loads to do yet on the engine so its just a start!

im also hoping to an m3 evo soon aswell!

  • @jworms Odyssey batteries are brilliant. They work like a deep cycle too. My dad's race car had one that lasted 6 years on occasional use. :)
