  • That is not how to cook menudo the mexican way! Its suppose to be red not white. It looks gross not how my grandma makes it.

  • You gotta make sure you clean it at least three times with Lemon. My jefita always cleaned it good and also you gotta cut the tripas in small chunks. My Grandpa use to say that big pieces in Menudo means the cook was a Huevon.

  • you didnt put the chiles

  • It'a ALL good time consuming,yessmelly, yup ewwBUT the end resultYUM YUM

  • change the title to " how to not make menudo" ......

  • @bighipo Thanks for watching.

  • @maricopaapt14

Se hace con pasillas, y guagillos secos, mitad y mitad! ;)

  • thats not how my family cooks menudo

  • There are as many recipes for menudo, as there are people. I have seen videos on here of people putting hot dogs in it. If you don't like my recipe, search for another. And I am giving the base recipe, that is all. I mention that in the Video.

  • @maricopaapt14 the one with hotdogs is the filipino version of meduno. which is different. just the same name.

  • @enienileg Did not know that. I searched a few and when I saw the hot dogs go in the pot, I knew something was up, LOL.

  • i love menudo with pata and tripe. i'm gonna try cooking that. thanks for posting..

  • @jelloenvee Thanks for watching. I love the Pata also, but I live in Indiana, and it is real hard to find any of the ingredients for "NANA's" Menudo. So, this is how I do it. Again, thanks for watching. Peace.

  • tripe doesnt look cooked.

  • Depends on how you like it. Some like it slimy, some firm. Guess which one I prefer. Plus, there are always leftovers, and the pot is constantly being heated and reheated, which further condenses the tripe. Chicanos know not to overcook anything, Peace....

  • hey mr C. Thanks for the recipe. I actually like tripe. We used to eat it a lot when I was a kid with just raw with salt and vinegar. Really nice.

  • You're Welcome Swipe. I put this video on here, because when I searched for the recipe, I could not find it. Maybe when the holidays near, and soup is on the menu, peoplewill thank me. Plus, my mom would be proud to know I can cook this by myself.
