  • i don't get it, you guys just got bad luck with corsair or something, my drive is fine.

  • Those read write speeds were using an ATTO benchmark

  • @qfour20 Yes, we pointed that out

    -Price

  • hair looks like a fried CPU..... kidding :)

  • Yeah I nowticed corsair quality slipping mostly on PSU, but now this. Get out of town! Corsair you lieing dogs.

  • Lol @ people complaining when you guys did multiple benchmarks. Benching is Benching and numbers don't lie. Sorry corsair fans, Crucial is what you should always be buying as far as flash memory is concerned (IMO). I think you guys should have compared a brand new out of the box M4 to the brand new out of the box Corsair BUT you aren't made of money and you guys posted the scores of the M4 when you first got it so I can't complain.

  • @njones1091 Yeah really. Thank you for actually seeing this.

    -Lavco

  • Why not do research and learn how the benchmarks are different and which best represents real world performance.

  • i think ssd is out way to early they need work {all brands) raptors FTW

  • I'm not trying to show you or prove anything just that there are other reviews that rate this a good product and it came out on top against the same drive in another revew

  • @kevgr5 okay, I wasn't sure what you wanted me to see

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Do you know of any other ssd that are good. I don't have enough for an m4 but I can no longer stand my corsair nova 2 i hate it.

  • @Emb3dStudios m4 is 100 bucks. I cant think of a cheaper ssd

    -Lavco

  • Search for it you know corsair vs whatever your a smart guy price

  • @kevgr5 I don't know what you are trying to show me though.

    -Price

  • What I love about crucial is that when their drives had issues they were quick to get a new firmware ready and launched within like 3 weeks of being an issue........unlike OCZ and sand force. Samsung drives have yet to have any issues and they perform on par if not better then crucial......but the M4 is a force to be recond with. U guys need to do real world tests like file transfers and boot times......u know stuff that ACTUALLY matters lol

  • I have this SSD, mine works just fine ;) With the advertised speeds. (120GB Version)

  • @XxMEVANSxX have you tried AS SSD?

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Let me try it, I have to wait until I get my rad and pump for my computer first ;P

Don't wanna boot a computer without a cooler.

  • @XxMEVANSxX lol alright

    -Price

  • Thanks for the review. This SSD is so cool looking, but it failed the performance. Damn wanted to get one until now :(

  • You guys should test some products that are expected to do well, not Corsair. Do something like Wildfires or some Mushkin one

  • @Zeraan1337 we would love to but not sure if we can

    -Price

  • Wow, I'm really happy I got my Patriot Wildfire instead of this. It was between those two SSDs. Patriot Wildfire works so much better than the Force GT.

  • @Vortex1988 yes it does lol

    -Price

  • I knew not to buy corsair products way back in the day. everything i have bought from them has failed, only thing I still have and like from corsair is the 800D, it has not failed me yet. I have the same Slayer Shirt. Heavy Metal Forever. LOL

  • Google it should not be hard to find

  • @kevgr5 I don't even know what I am supposed to be looking for

    -Price

  • @kevgr5 did the test with the same programs?

    -Price

  • @TheCharrigan I learned my lesson back in July, I don't think the extra write speed is worth the extra cost

    -Price

  • @TheCharrigan thanks and yes its very sad what the world has come to

    -Price

  • New England Playoff Beard?

  • @uncfan32134 haha

    -Price

  • Excellent Review Guys!

  • @umarsharif3512 Thank you

    -Price

  • BTW great job letting the world know what a piece of shit that drive is.

  • @thorsurveillance thanks lol

    -Price

  • Well Corsair is straight up a pack of liars then. Same thing with the OCZ agility 3 advertised speed isnt even close to what you really get. That's why I bought two Crucial M4s.One thing that reallly bothered me about the corsair was the advertised write was not just a few points off but hundreds???wtf Corsair?? If my memory serves me right the box says up to 495 sequential write but it only got 89! That is a 406 MB/s sequential write difference. I would understand maybe 20-50 difference.

  • @thorsurveillance Yeah thats why we don't like corsair

    -Price

  • To state up front I am not hating on your video. Just wondering is Crystal disk able to work with some of the newer SSD's on the market. I know you tested several programs so I guess it would bring to question are they capable of testing the latest in SSD tech? Good video overall and I do tend to agree on many things you state in this at times it seems the product says one thing but, often we the consumer get something else not so great. Keep up the great work guys.

  • @jonndemainjr Well we were using the latest version of crystal disk and it seemed to work

    -Price

  • It seemed that the Corsair really only ever beat out the M4 on the writing aspect of things, generally when people are buying SSDs they are more focused on the read because you typically only write to the drive the first time; after that you are typically going to access that information on a very regular basis. Good video guys and two M4s in RAID0 is BAUS!

  • @KirkHarveyGames That is very correct and thank you

    -Price

  • I do like corsair memory, but other than that, they really leave a lot to be desired

  • @ltcheese945 Their memory wasn't even that good to be honest

    -Price

  • @ltcheese945 The only thing I really like from corsair are their power supplies.

  • Samdforce is sandforce......Samsung all the way!!!!

  • @I5ZQ8 meh

    -Price

  • im glad you did this video now iknow just how bad the force gt is.

  • @mmarkgraf212 yeah its kinda crappy

    -Price

  • Great review by the way.

  • @darkskater14 thank you

    -Price

  • great review, m4 it is, I hear you guys on corsair products they have great marketing and product concepts but fail to deliver quality, performance.

  • @extremesynthetic Yes this.

    -Lavco

  • It's top gear logic more is more

  • @darkskater14 Ha yes

    -Lavco

  • nice nice view!!

  • ssd,s are so fast it really dose not matter except for quality over time!

  • @kevgr5 I beg to differ, the corsair takes much longer to boot and gives us all problems. The drive already broke

    -Price

  • easy on corsair guys lololol

  • @Galal0110 they made like one good thing

    -Price

  • great video glad I bought a M4 128GB.

  • @theincrediblespencer so am I lol

    -Price

  • @theincrediblespencer so am I lol

    -Price

  • ATTO uses uncompressed data which means the writes will be a lot faster on a sandforce drive but its not at all a good practical representation

  • @KrunchatizeMeKapn Thank you

    -Lavco

  • first

    greatreview guys!

  • @morph2g Thank you!

    -Lavco
