like i said before ssd's are so fast for the foreseeable future the only thing that matters is quality over time, unless you are one of toughs benchmark freaks that freak out over a few points or seconts
Lol @ people complaining when you guys did multiple benchmarks. Benching is Benching and numbers don't lie. Sorry corsair fans, Crucial is what you should always be buying as far as flash memory is concerned (IMO). I think you guys should have compared a brand new out of the box M4 to the brand new out of the box Corsair BUT you aren't made of money and you guys posted the scores of the M4 when you first got it so I can't complain.
I'm not trying to show you or prove anything just that there are other reviews that rate this a good product and it came out on top against the same drive in another revew
What I love about crucial is that when their drives had issues they were quick to get a new firmware ready and launched within like 3 weeks of being an issue........unlike OCZ and sand force. Samsung drives have yet to have any issues and they perform on par if not better then crucial......but the M4 is a force to be recond with. U guys need to do real world tests like file transfers and boot times......u know stuff that ACTUALLY matters lol
Wow, I'm really happy I got my Patriot Wildfire instead of this. It was between those two SSDs. Patriot Wildfire works so much better than the Force GT.
I knew not to buy corsair products way back in the day. everything i have bought from them has failed, only thing I still have and like from corsair is the 800D, it has not failed me yet. I have the same Slayer Shirt. Heavy Metal Forever. LOL
Well Corsair is straight up a pack of liars then. Same thing with the OCZ agility 3 advertised speed isnt even close to what you really get. That's why I bought two Crucial M4s.One thing that reallly bothered me about the corsair was the advertised write was not just a few points off but hundreds???wtf Corsair?? If my memory serves me right the box says up to 495 sequential write but it only got 89! That is a 406 MB/s sequential write difference. I would understand maybe 20-50 difference.
To state up front I am not hating on your video. Just wondering is Crystal disk able to work with some of the newer SSD's on the market. I know you tested several programs so I guess it would bring to question are they capable of testing the latest in SSD tech? Good video overall and I do tend to agree on many things you state in this at times it seems the product says one thing but, often we the consumer get something else not so great. Keep up the great work guys.
It seemed that the Corsair really only ever beat out the M4 on the writing aspect of things, generally when people are buying SSDs they are more focused on the read because you typically only write to the drive the first time; after that you are typically going to access that information on a very regular basis. Good video guys and two M4s in RAID0 is BAUS!
i don't get it, you guys just got bad luck with corsair or something, my drive is fine.

ATTO uses uncompressed data which means the writes will be a lot faster on a sandforce drive but its not at all a good practical representation
