  • @ozjenjen what is the clear liquid she uses? :)

  • @Lottiemusic1 Hi. I'm not actually sure, maybe sugar syrup, I used a dab of icing.

  • Where can find a rose petal cutter? I'm from Australia.

  • @twiauOfficial they are called ROSE CUTTER, the ones in this video are called PME 5 petals cutters, you can get them from any cake deco shop near you, or online. hope this helps :)

  • whats the stuff in the end of the vid ?? the clear liquid she glazed in the middle of the flower

  • @therob87 well i dont know what it is, but she used for pasting the white balls , if you want to paste something to fondant is enough with water c: hope this help you

  • @anonymoushakespeare yes water works as well, thanks for helping :)

  • @bymeryng n.n glad it helped you

  • @therob87 Hello there it's called Sugar Glue... but you can use water instead as the glue

  • @therob87 Hey there! She used something called Gumpaste Glue. It's made by using 1 part of Tylos Paste (also known as Gumpaste powder) mixed into 3 parts warm water. Stir and leave overnight in the refrigerator. Store in a cosmetic Cutex bottle, as this has a little brush with it. Works wonders! :)

fyi, water works too, just dab a little water and that will cause the fondant to condense, which makes a gluey/sticky effect and will let those little balls stick to the flower.

  • @therob87 thats water i think. water can be used to glue decoration on fondant

  • @priscillaeee exactly right, thank you!

  • @therob87 hello, it's called sugar glue.. it is made out of sugar syrup.. you can also use water as replacement, it works as well

  • @therob87 Most likely clear vanilla, thats what makes things stick to fondant.

  • Pretty flower, but c'mon...they aren't really roses now are they? Great idea for production work though. Thanks for sharing it.

  • @ThePastryDiva Hello there.. they are single petal variety rose. One found in nature is called Nearly Wild Rose...

  • @bymeryng it looks a lot more like a hibiscus

  • @ThePastryDiva in Australia they are known as Briar roses!!

  • Great instructional video, except you're not explaining anything for your viewers. If you had explained it as you were doing the instructional it would have been Awesome.

  • @cynthianmitchell Hi there, thank you for your comments, I will do more videos soon, and will take your feedback on board, many thanks :)

  • What are those little balls??

  • @Laurasusana1988 Hi there they are called sugar pearls - they are edible,, you can find them online or in cake deco shop, hope this helps :)

  • Do you make the fondant? or do you buy it? if you make it could you please make a video tutorial? it looks awesome! Thanks for sharing!!:)

  • @danndlg i am using store-bought fondant... Bakels brand.. Satin Ice is also great to work with

  • how long did it take for the flowers to dry??because my flowers dont really fry up. when i put them on the cake, they fall apart:(please help.

  • @mashaprotopopov a couple of hours or overnight... i am using Bakels plastic icing/fondant.. leave the flowers in an airy place, away from sunlight (as it bleaches the colour of the fondant)... never put them in the fridge... put the flowers on the cupcakes shortly before displaying, not long before... as some buttercream can moist the gumpaste and they could fall apart....

  • how long did it take the fondant to dry before placing it on the cupcake?

  • @ladyfon best to leave it overnight so it hardens well before placing it on the cupcake... though couple of hours should be ok... good luck :)

  • Just a question. I have the exact same colouring and everytime I use it it gets all over my hands and won't go off for a day (no matter how many times I wash my hands) how do you keep that from happening to your hands?

  • @Tesseltjuhhxx Hello I use Wilton gel fondant colouring, they are easy to work with and do not stain your hands. You can start with basic colours and mix them into any cols you like... Hope this helps :)

  • @bymeryng What I meant was that I also have Winton gel colouring, but they do stain my hands :P Maybe it's just a skin thing.

  • @Tesseltjuhhxx oh i see haha... i try not to touch the gel , rather mix it in the middle of the fondant then knead it without direct contact to skin... :D

  • Awesome!

  • @TaPetiteSoeur Many thanks :)

  • Hi CuteeBeauty, it is water colour palate, any kind should do
