@JamieKusick i think eso's main problem with el-p is that he views himself as an artist, while eso was just a nerdy kid in high school whose dreams of hip hop ended up working out.
this creates a duality, because el-p has an enormous amount of talent, but the pretension pisses eso off. in terms of skill level, it's apples and oranges because el-p focuses on dense lyrics, while eso is almost exclusively punchline based. in terms of diss tracks, eso did better simply because that's his thing

this is a great song which is weird because compared to Aes,Vast and ElP Esoteric is not even close. But with that being said i love this track even though he's dissing 3 of my favorite emcees. it goes to show that even an average mc can make a great track.
