In case you have lost your only Administrator password in Windows 7/ Vista/ XP there is no way to retrieve it if you do not have a second Administrator account that you can use to login and change the password or you have created a password reset disk before you have lost the password.

You can get the software from resetpasswordwindows website.

Guys try this one!! i found it, it save my life!! when your windows are loading...HOLD F8 then you click "safe mode" and then wait a second...you will log in to an administrator account and then go to control panel and change your password at your real account!!! sorry for the english xD

@TheKien52 - That's exactly my point. You can't make changes to other accounts (like the administrator's) unless you already have administrator rights. I use a linux disk to wipe forgotten passwords. It basically changes the SAM file without locking you out of the administrator's files (like a password change would).

well, if you keep typing the samething on cmd, it will give you multiple passwords that are different.

That is because when you type /random, it generates a random password. So if you do it multiple times, the passwords will be different. But the latest password it generated should work.

This is just how to unlock the hidden master administrator account that is hidden on the computer by default. Go into CMD and type in net user Administrator/yes ( enter yes to turn it on) or enter in Administrator/no ( to make the master admin account go back into hiding) Your going to want to put it back into hiding when your done. Or program's can download and in stall them self's with out you knowing about it.
