I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so harsh by saying you suck with the camera. Yes, you are right, it is better than nothing! Thank you soooo much for posting your video! It's awesome! I'm going to the big game on Saturday! If you go...take more video from your awesome camera and remember.....hold the camera VERY still and pan across the field SLOWER! Thanks! You are great!

I haven't seen the Akron U band in a few years. This looks to be a great season for the band. You are going to be great in that new stadium!!

Yep! I'm in the flute section, & am a squad leader.

yeah i miss the band. I love the freedom. I did it for 6 years 2001-2006. 2 years drumline and 4 years trumpet. I was a trumpet squad leader in 2005.

Sweet - did you see the video of the trumpets performing Band of Brothers after the pregame performance? If not it's on Raiden980's channel. It's pretty good. I think Zack, section leader, arranged it... either him or John McArthur.

yeah i saw it at the performance and on youtube. I didn't record it though. I wish UA trumpets did stuff like that when I was on the line back then. I marched with Zack his freshman year and play trumpet in jazz lab band with him. He's awesome.

i dunno. It seems like this whole arrangement of pregame marching and play is WAY easier than the old pregame.

Personally I don't think so, but I'm not used to learning squad drill or having to march 20 different pinwheels & slides non-stop....or one of them for that matter. The song, at least on the flute, is just as easy/difficult, but that's just my part... I think the fanfare sounds cooler than before, though.
