I think this interview is slightly bias. Yes, being a homosexual doesn't go down to well in Cameroon (or Africa as a whole) But I am 1000% sure that the police frce in Cameroon do not spend most of their day trying to victimise 'Cameroonian homosexuals'.

Sayign it's bias doesn't mean that it doesn't exist or that this story isn't real. For example; one can go to 'Africa' and film the slums and conclude that Africa is poor ect. To put it simply; yes I do believe that this story is true and yes in some areas where extremists are present, being homosexual probably is an incredibly hard lifestyle - this I do not deny. Today that treatment would be unthinkable.

do you have proof of this? I really don't think you can make such wide ranging claims without the unobtainable historical proof. I have lived and worked many places for a long time. In many cultures all sex acts are not universal. This includes oral and homosexual sex. Just because your culture may practice this does not mean its universal. How are gays treated bad, no one knows they are gay. Their is no sign on theirs heads saying I AM A HOMOSEXUAL. If they want to practise homosexuality they can do it in private. Just like people who commit pedophilia, adultry, fornicators and beastiality do it in private, it is not right but no one want's to know what you do in your sex life
