I like it. The syncopated rapid Left and Right hand trade off is the earmark sound of rhodes through the 70's. The song is more in the spirit of a jam/groove, but that in and of itself does not take away from structure or timing. Your syncopation and timing is better than mine, so that gives me the idea that I should always practice with a drum track at home. Is it true that not practicing to a beat makes one's meter lazy?

i practice with a metronome on 2 and 4. i guess whatever works though to make sure you have a good sense of time and groove in the pocket

I have read that practicing with metronome is bad, because it confuse your brain. However a drum track is a bit different.

You should have a inner metronome to get the right sense of rythmn and then try a drum track, metronome is just for leasening a while and singing for yourself before playing.
