@imchi as for the tesla coil, I think it is the high frequency that allows the guys in the video to survive that. I mean the skin effect: the current doesn't passes the body inside but outside on the skin. At least it sounds in my ears as if it's a high frequency. But beside this, also what Nightkurre said, that the tesla coil deceives a high voltage connected with a low current. :) I never tried that for myself. I just read that Nikola Tesla connected himself to Millions of Volts and survived.
