When I was a kid, I didn't really understand this clip that well. The line that grabbed my attention was the line about the chocolate cake. Everything that followed threw me off as I just couldn't find the connection.
@cjdunn -- It was Eric Idle, not John Cleese. I recall this sketch from back when I was knee-high to a junebug...and Thelma Thumb, too, though for years I misremembered it as "Velma".
Does anyone else remember another one similar to a Korty cartoon it was about bedtime and they go around the world and see what people do before bed in other countries? It's been bugging me lately. Thanks.
Don't know what it is, exactly, but when the girl says the line "You're a bird!", the animation just matches the inflection so well. It was subtle in the dialogue, but the animation brings it out further with her skeptical head-cocking gesture and the sudden frown.
I dunno. It's a small thing, but it jumped out at me.
I seem to hear other voices that sound familiar in some of these other Korty shorts. As I've never seen anything besides "Twice" and these that use the Lumage animation, I wonder if these were all produced at the same time as "Twice", and using some of the already-hired actors.
WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW....

I remember this. Why does the bird sound like John Cleese from Monty Python when he does his pepperpot old lady voice?

Yep - he sure sounds like Scuzzbopper. Anyone know of anywhere to get a copy of Twice Upon a Time on DVD? or LD?

I got mine from a boot dealer at a sci-fi convention a few weeks ago. R rated and PG versions!

The bird has, I'm guessing, the same voice actor (James Cranna...?) as Scuzzbopper in "Twice Upon A Time". Anyone confirm?

Correct.
