@coolhwippp By holding 'Control' and pressing 'T' you can do something called 'Free Transforming'. You'll notice a box around your image when Ctrl+T is pressed. Now hold the Shift key and Alt key. While holding these keys down, drag the image down from the corner.
Alt and Shift keep the image proportionate when re-sizing. You should be able to press 'Enter' to apply this transformation.
this isnt green screening you noob, this is removing and replacing a background, you can do that even if the background is complex, thanks for the massive waste of time
These techniques really aren't designed for greenscreen removal. Extract and Eraser tools just don't work professionally. The true way to do it is in the channels. You can see how it works at photoshop-illustration.blogspot.com. The tools you mention are for more complex backgrounds, but greenscreen is used precisely because of how it works with the channels. That's what the pros use.
or u can just click on the eraser then click magic or background eraser then ur done then drag it to the next pic alot faster and took u this long to described different ways are kool
hi, wen i hit the delete button, my background either turns white or black, depending on the color of the squares in the bottom left corner, can u help me make the background transparent when i hit delete! THNX!!
@Mtron1000 Im new to photoshop but I learned that before you do anything, look at the layer the bottom right corner and make sure there isnt a lock on it. I learned that by renaming the name of the layer, it takes the lock away. I dont know if there is any easier way but thats how I do it. Make sure there is not a lock on either of the layers before you do anything with them.
Thanks! I was debating whether or not if I should buy a green screen until I have a bigger studio space but wasn't sure how much work would be involved in the editing process...definitely easy! I think I will invest in a green screen!
@geyck yeah he did that way it still works! he had merged the layers or probably he got it like that from google! give him some credit for knowing what lots of people don't... and sharing it! =]
What are the fill settings when you do this? I was making a lightsaber and now when i delete the green its not a grey and white checkered background and it won't work. If this has nothing to do with why it wont work, I would appreciate it if you knew why its not working.
@sweetntangy51 yes this is normal most muslin green screens are a little see through... the image will come out fine but if you want to be extra sure just fold it in half and use it like that...
This image is not the original image. It has already been cut out and the background was replaced with a green background. The "already replaced" green background was then removed.........not impressive at all.
I found this image online. I didn't do what you think I did. maybe the person who created this image did, but I did not. and the main point of this video is to show the technique.
i got a headache from your mentally retarded speech

@geyck the has nothing to do with the validity of the video. if someone shot something in front of a green screen, this would still work
