nice review, anyway there is a misstake 2:30 that's not amemory card,that is the jumper pak, the games that didnt use the controller pak (the memory card that you plug in the controller) acutally saved in the cartridge, not the console, the jumper pak was actually filling the space for the expanson pak (but is you take the jumper pak off the console wont work, which add 4MB RAM, a few game required it to play, other games used it to improve resolution, more detailed graphics and better framerate

That is not a memory card, that is a memory Expansion pack ;) Just saying needed for some of the nicer games. Though most games play good without it. Going from 4 to 8Mbyte of memory is nice.

But yes very nice console and due to a cardridge based design.. very little can break. When collecting consoles and games that is a gain.

Correct, AV cords work for all 3 but when they came out with the Wii they made that fatal mistake of changeing the AV cords.... Which pissed me off.

@funyvideosman Wii can support 480p through component cables, neither the SNES or N64 could. The GameCube could, but only via the Digital AV port which was removed later on. Nintendo obviously wanted the corner-cut design to be on all ports which also allowed a new pinouts, hence component.

Hands down best game for N64 - Goldeneye which I feel still holds one of the best shooters of all time title too, because it just was epic. Any shooter where you pull a pin on a grenade and run around as a living bomb is epic win.

Great review and system!

I think that Resident Evil 2 is one of the system's best accomplishments. No one thought it was possible, for compressing all that data was not an easy task for Capcom. The FMV sequences though would seem outdated though. They are quite grainy compared to other versions, but what would you expect? I suppose the Expansion Pak would enhance the resolution a bit. In-game graphical and gameplay quality though is very impressive.

@Thevideogameprophet The N64 is completely outdated. You can get games on the Wii, the analog stick sucks, etc. Also, that's not a built in memory card. It's an expansion slot that adds more RAM. Decent review though.
