... It's a COCONUT. It's FOOD. It doesn't smell like an animal; it smells like... well, a tree. o: It smells like a coconut palm on the outside, so there's no reason why the dog's instincts should be screaming, "DANGER!!!". If anything, it was just curious about the new, tree/coconut smell, and didn't know what to make of it.

I posted that a long time ago. I have a little more experience with english bulldogs now, mine is scared of the weirdest things as well. They stand up to big dogs and things, but when it comes to the most ridiculous stuff like small birds they're scared shitless.
