I think all the content is the same except for the maps, which most arre compatible. and if its not compatible you just need to import a few entities, usually buildings or flora

Yes, they may be based off the same software but they have many great differences. Like an adjustable map, more troops, cross compatiblity, more missions and higher quality graphics.

yes its called "Making history" the calm and the storm.... idk i tried the demo and it was fun for the most part... the only thing wrong about it was that if you make 1 wrong choice the entire world hates you and you tecnically fail.... the only way to gain allys are to join other evil nations in alliances and stuff... lol
