actually the ls9 engine cost around $25000 and the extra parts need would be around $10k more. I would say 70k to 80k if you do it urself on a 2010 camaro. You would probably get back like 8k by selling you're original camaro engine

I LOVE chevy motors (i'm a ford guy), they are seriously good engines. Now lets drop 500-700lbs off that HEAVY car. Making the car lighter is always easier than making more hp.
