I must admit I used to think your advice was B.S but I've come full circle. Having educated myself and gotten past all the hype, I completely agree with your honest and often "calm the f&*k down" advice. Keep doin what you're doing mate, it's a good thing.
I've been eating at a deficit for months now, and have been losing a consistent amount of weight weekly. I began cardio exercise/plyometrics (Insanity), kept the same calorie intake, thus increasing my daily calorie deficit, and I'm losing weight at a slower rate than before. What gives.
thank you. why can't people realize that weight loss is all about caloric deficit. there's way too much confusion out there. if you look at muay thai practitioners, i think they eat twice a day and most of them look like they're carved out of wood.

i have a question i eat fruit all day for lunch and 3 snacks. i have a piece of toast for breakfast, and a peice of bread at dinner with lots of veggies and also drink water. based on what i eat i dont see any calories in my diet? i also drink water so technically am i not intaking any calories? the bread is fat free whole weat. i weigh 289 and i do cardio 2 and a half hours. im concerned that i have a massive calorie deficit but i lose like 5 lbs a week.
i guessi need reassurancethat if i start eating healthy and exercising tomorrow then the past binges won't affect me and that i willl start losing weight, but now that i am getting fat, i am giving up on myself. is it possible to start losing weight, even if i have been binging on thousands and thousands of calories of cookies, pizza, bread, doughnuts, and everything bad possible, if i start eating healthy and exercising tomororw? I am desperete!
if i try to stop binging, will i still continue to gain weight because of the past months and months of binging? I live off of desserts, chips, bread and cream cheese (i really wnt to stop binging but its so hard to stop, especially now that i am gaining weight and i think that i am fat so i think it is useless for me to eat healthy...
ever since i have entered college ,i have been binging everyday. every single day.. i used to be every thin but now i am getting bigger and bigger by the day, and in two quarters of college, i have gained 40 pounds. i binge up to 5000 calories a day and sometimes more. and even tonight i binged on cookie dough, pizza, and tacos before going to sleep.
Oh, that's really good to know. What about people who are into water fasting, say, religious folks, that do it for an extended period of time (a week, or two)?
