I have owned BMWs for 18 years. I used to be impressed with the technology and the ride, but not lately. I currently own an E39 and E60. While the older one is falling apart with all its cheap plastic parts, the new one is having computer problems. The quality has noticeably declined in 18 years.

The list is very long of problems, but I will abbreviate: constant electrical malfunctions, climate control shut off (yes, both cars and on hot days!!) , cheap plastic parts

It seems BMW successfully rides this wave of belief that consumers have, that BMW is a quality car. It *used* to be a quality car. Now, it's a production car similar in quality to a Chevy Malibu, just much more expensive. The "ultimate driving machine" has evolved to be the "ultimate disappointment". The Asian cars my friends own are significantly better quality and cost less. Did I really pay so much extra just for that black, white & blue badge?

Sorry for taking while to answer! i lowered it w/ H&R SPORT springs, about 2 inches i think, there are also H&R race, which go lower, but not recommended you will rub & the ride is not as good as these! Just order H&R sport springs from The Tire rack, thats where i got mine!

Hey man sorry for the late reply, lol, its lowered with H&R sport springs! then i put the 20" wheels & didn't have to shave the fenders or anything, but when i changed to YOKOHAMA tires, now they rub.

Easiest way to do that is use electrical tape and take your time. It wont ruin the finish and it will look the same.

@MercedesChef man this car with this rims accelerates more slow man i prefer 18 inch rims cause it helps to accelerate but 20 inchs looks very good :)
