Lol I was pretty young... I caught the trailing end. I was only 8 when this song came out. Luckily there is a station here that plays techno pretty late and I heard it right around the same time when oakenfold was the resident DJ here very unknown still and that spawned my love for electronic music in general.

Nope, this is the original. Singularity was the name of the album, not to be confused with DJ Tandu's remake song which he titled "singularity" and combined both symmetry C and symmetry P, both of which were made by Brainchild in 1994.

DJ Tandu's Singularity was made in 2000, and he basically called it "Brainchild II".
