IDK about yous guys, "V" is my favorite show on TV

Please read my comments in the right order.

This version of 'V' should have been immense considering the time gap between and how special effects have improved but sadly any changes made were made purely for saving money.

1. Linage and hierarchy was dismissed (ships officers and families Human and 'V')

2. all effects were CGI.

3. No REAL BACKSTORY - changed constantly.

4. Conversion chamber swapped for Bliss!!

5. Anna ran everything, surely a Queen would have P.R.

Also this verison of conversion 'Bliss' was nowhere near as horrifying as the conversion chamber. Check out Juliet Parish as Diana tried to convert her.

And the 'Soul' part of the plot - the original 'V' would have dismissed this as ' a humans way of trying to give an answer to death and self worth' - for unfeeling species this notion would have been scorned and laughed upon.

Idont know what you were watching but the original series was amazing - and I dont meant the crappy TV series that came after - I mean the Original V. (the first 5 - 90 minute episodes).

This version is a generic crappy version of something that was horrifying. Its like they sat down and wrote in about 5 mins (which to be honest I think they did).

There are so many things that contradict each other in this version and the budget -???

anna who is also the leader - is also the spokesperson - The linage consists of 3 women ??

Diana - Anna and Lisa ???

Also on the ships where is the hierarchy?

The plot changed with every episode?

The original had a plot and kept to it.

A group of men sat around and said 'What does it take for a show to be 'Sci-fi' - well you need a hero , a villain, remove any horror and with minimum budget - and voila the new 'V'. With a whole lot of cheap crappy CGI effects.

I know the latex was crappy in the TV series of V (also down to cheap budget - but the Original 5 part miniseries each 90mins long the effecrts weren't cheap and the internal part of the SHIPS were REAL - this time around everuything was shot in fron of a green sheet to creat CGI crappy effects.

There was so much more inconsistency - Malik in this episode when tortured and tail was cut off bled Green - yet other 'V' bled in red.

the original series is so fucking shit !! the actors were so bad, it didn't even make any sense

this one makes sense, its 1000 x better then the crap that was before, the ships look more real, the lizards look more real... just accept that the new one is better
