man i got my acer one and it has to be the best pc i got next to building my 3000 dollar pc it's good for surfing the net downloading stuff great for teenagers the only thing is the speakers that are at the bottom should have been put on the top. i give it 9 out of 10

Im getting an acer aspire one with win. XP more memory ;) id go with the acer, its a good price for what you get around 450$ a little more expensive than the EEE pc buuuttt worth it.

Unless you're outdoors the image is GORGEOUS, and even the 110 model is very good playing videos and downloading files with the wireless interface.

You'll have to search for the right model for your needs. There is the model with the little 8GB SSD and another with a huge 160GB hard disk.

I got the Acer Aspire One A150-X with 1GB of RAM and 120GB HDD and XP, and I think this is way faster than the SSD version. The slow SSD is a bottleneck to the system.

I believe it can take more than 8GB in each slot, from what I've heard from others. Also, not to be mean, but neither of you seem to know much about the Aspire One at all. The RAM is not available under that slot, that's just for expansion slots like an HSDPA or WiMax module. Finally, the speakers are on the bottom. I know you just opened it, but making a video full of false/wrong information about the item you're unboxing is't that cool. Finally, James seems drunk, or at least high.
