Im in Texas and I always wanted to shoot a pig ever since reading Charlotte's web, where's a good place near dallas, going down south always takes far too long.
@KickingAssDaily I do know of some other guided hunts in the Dallas area, but cannot recommend any as I have not experienced the operation. I can tell you that what is offered can vary greatly. We had hunters that went with a big operation out of Houston. They hunted all night and got 7 pigs. We said, "Wow, ya'll went home with a lot of meat." They said no meat was recovered as they were told it was too warm to recover the meat. BS We recover ALL of the meat for our hunters.
@hogbait96 We are using all Generation III equipment from both Night Optics and ATN. The Night Optics is more expensive, but trouble free after years of use. All ATNs we have run have needed servicing.
@ChrisCorle01 I have a 7900 Crusader. In under 6 months the intensifier tube went out. It was replaced without question, but I was out of a scope for almost 2 months. It is several years old now but needs repair as something looks like it has turned loose internally and is obstructing part of the image. It should have no problems as it hasn't been used much in two years. My hunting partner had what I believe was a 6900. It wouldn't hold zero and had to be sent in for repair.
Glad to see you guys back on Youtube. The drought has been extremely tough on the pigs in my neck of the woods (about an hour West of Houston). If you have water on your property, you have pigs. I don't have water anymore.
@GriffGruff78 We have a couple of properties with that problem (or is it a problem?) The stock tanks dried up and the hogs moved out. The flip side to that is that we have one property in particular with 5 water well fed stock tanks. Can you guess what has happened there? It's like a hog slot machine. Pull the lever and it delivers hogs by the dozen.
@NightHogsDotcom It's a real conflict for me. The pigs are extremely destructive and it is very nice to have them out of there, but I love hunting them, I love destroying their connective tissue with long exposure to smoke and water vapor at 250-300 degrees and I love eating the results.
@snowsniper8 We are NightHogs guide service just East of San Antonio, TX. You can find a lot of information about us at our NightHogs website and don't forget to "like" us on FaceBook to get continually updated pictures from hunts. It is really a BLAST!

@kaneda956 Subsonic rounds out of an integrally suppressed Ruger 77/44 bolt action rifle. Very quiet.

A slow motion of that shot going in would be awesome. Also a hero shot with you and the victim would be nice.
