  • Should have do a huge burnout hehe !!

  • All cool T-birds have a Gun metal finish. And 16" turbo coupe rims.

  • burnout vid please?

  • Hey GEvans1983, when ever you want to cut her loose on the track let me know, i'll go get my 1979 bird that's gettin work done.

  • Damn that Thunerbird looks like a sleeper until that pretty ass roar of that 460 comes In to play

  • NICE BIRD BRO IT SOUNDS SWEET

    T-BIRDS FOR LIFE

  • waaaaay to much motor there lol

  • im putting a 460 ci in my 88 thunderbird

  • I have a 1985 T-Bird that started life with a 3.8 V6 & now is a 5.8 sleeper. Nice job on this bad bird!!

  • Wondering what cams are in that Big Block.

  • hell yea dude i put a 429 cobra jet in my 86 kills on gas though

  • Wow and I thought it would be a tight squeeze was looking at a 351 to put in mine and I dont think I could get mine to fit in place of the 3.8

  • I bet you could give a few 'Stangs a run for their money!

  • Nice sleeper! That would give the 5.0 boys a few fits I'm sure!

  • Good god what a beast! I'd love to see this in motion.. I really never considered myself a thunderbird fan but the car looks brand new and sounds like 100 demons are pounding to get out of that engine compartment!

  • I DIDN'T SEE A 460?THE 2.3 RAN OK,BUT NOT THE MOST RELIBLE ENGINE,MAYBE THE EFI ONES WERE GOOD,BUT THE 70'S VERSIONS SUCKED,BOTH 2.0 and 2.3.

  • Big Headers into 3" pipes, flowmaster mufflers with down facing exhaust tips that dump right before the axle. Not enough room for duals between the axle, fuel filler tube and the fuel tank.

The Flowmasters are what really make that kick ass sound.

  • what do you have as an exhaust?

    i love that sound

  • nice...im a bird fan

  • I really should ge the frames tied at some point in the near future so the body doesn't twist. The rear end and rear suspession might need some attention at some point but I'm worrying about that stuff as parts break. Otherwise I haven't done anything too it.

  • how much work did you have to put into the driveline for all that extra torque?

  • Nice car. I was thinking of putting a 460 in my 86 but was sort of scared away with how big the project seemed. Do you have any tips or advice based on problems you ran into or was it pretty straightforward?

  • what year is that car i have a 86 with a 2.3 turbo

  • The car is a 1983

  • That 2.3 is seriously about the most reliable engine ever made.

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS? AND EXPLAIN HOW?

  • Lets play match that sound to the car. Never would have guessed that one. Awesome sleeper. Thanks for posting. Import killer? Yes!

  • 460?.....tranny?.....HP numbers?..time slips?

  • Yes, that is a warmed over 460 in the car with a C6 transmission. I'm guessing it's about 400 hp. Never did get a chance to drag it, I'm still working some bugs out of it.

  • Thats a sleeper for sure.

  • sleeepeeeeerr

    your car rocks

  • thanks

  • dude, make some smoke or something. My moped will squeal the rear tire when I pop it in gear... Pretty car!!! How bad is is? Talk to us!!!
