Its me or Shantotto is Vaati's decendant plus she is kinda look minish too from zelda games and also its look that Minish will dominate the world tho XD
I love this music and loved the fight even more, Sure she kicked our asses on our first try but damn.... fighting against two Shantottos! It was one of the most epic fights, I was grinning like a mad man at the cut scene.
@alexthepure She isnt really a villian in the sense that she goes around be all evil. For the first part of the game she is one of the famous heroes who saved the world and helps you out with stuff. She just.. goes a bit crazy and wants to take over the world is all.
@Kattzman well not really taking over the world. In an experiment, it seemed that she torn apart in a normal Part and a Dark part of herself. Dark Shantotto decieved Shantotto to take over the world. But later on, the hero finds out that they are not the real ones. They are just Shantottos form another dimension. After the fight, the real Shantotto appears, who was sent into another dimension in the experiment mentioned above. She saved the world actually and sent the other 2 back in their dimen
For anyone who plays FFXI and has not bought this expansion, then I cannot reccommend it enough, too many times in this game bc fights etc are not fun to fight and in and the only joy is with the rewards.
However this burning circle is great fun and has an epic feel to it! One thing though if you plan to melee burn as we did at least 1 whm is going to make things a lot easier.
Never played XI but have played Dissidia. So, why the hell is she evil? Isn't she supposed to be a hero. Maybe there's a clue in the title of the expansion...
I haven't played this mini-expansion myself, but I've played a lot of FFXI. She's a very well known black mage who's done her part in saving the world. Her actions however are sometimes quite mean and unfair. She's something of an anti-hero; she does things her own unique way, often breaking rules in the process.
I imagine that she takes the roll of a villain in this, but she probably has good intentions in the end. Plot twist type thing.
She is a hero overall, not a villain. And I love'r :).
what had happend is she was doing a experiment and opened a door to a perilell universe and the shantotto from the parilell universe got split in to 2 and came in to this world and there are a good and a bad shantotto running around well our shantotto got traped in the other universe
but she's adorable nonetheless. I actually tried to solo her, didn't know about the other one that would fight with her so I got crushed with her magic
@Skie72 Personally, I felt that the ending boss music for CoP was the best. It's perfected excellently throughout the whole piece and fight. Truly fits the mood. I agree to a point though - this is definitely one of the better boss themes. Fits her personality perfectly IMO ^^
@RaxiazRedux And yes, Promathia's 2nd form + Fighters of the Crystal (Arc Angel 18 man battle) are the ultimate soundtracks in FFXI when it comes to battle themes. =)
@Skie72 This song is great for sure but I still think the Alexander fight music is the best FFXI boss music and I'd probably put the Shadow Lord fight msuic ("Awakening") above this one as well.
They used "Awakening" in Dissidia for Shantotto but I hope they will use this song song in Dissidia Duodecim, it does fit Shantotto so well.
