Although Loreena McKennitt does have a beautiful voice, sh's not the singer on this cover, by Greek singer, Haris Alexiou, entitled, "To Tango Tis Nefelis." In 1996, Alexiou wrote the lyrics for "Nefeli's Tango" on Celtic musician Loreena McKennitt's music. The music by McKennitt is on her album "The Visit," called "Tango to Evora." McKennitt's liner notes say, "This was originally conceived for the National Film Board of Canada documentary "The Burning Times," directed by Donna Reid."
