they say the eye works at 25~ fps but that's bull crap! for me 30fps (including in films) looks too juddery, when I play pc games anything below 50fps looks a bit crap, even 200hz screens playing 29p looks crap like fast motion... I think its just that the Industry cannot provide 100fps video so they 'claim' 25 is all we need.. they why by a 600hz screen?!?

@gobacktorussia 600 hz screen? Dang, mine's only ~65 hertz... :/ But yeah, you're actually right. Our eyes only would only need 24 fps IF the frames were blurred, but even then, the details in images would be substantially less visible in quick-moving scenes. So yeah, the 24 fps thing is bullcrap, and it just takes 2-3 minutes to find that out using the internet. :)

The eye sees 60 fps to put it into frames per second. But if we saw things in 24, we would see everything as a blur.

Take the sun's rays for example, you can see them sometimes, but only when they are bouncing off rain or small dust particles. @DameMedias 500 -100 it's the percentage of the videos original FPS, so the higher = the slower, the lower = the closer to original speed. Try 200-300.

@LaMard1 Hi, thanks. I might do a tutorial on a HUD type effect for frag videos, so it's a possibility. The quickest way to do that is with PSDs, although you can use solids for it.
