  • My prediction, optimistically i say 9-7. realistically i say 7-9

  • @HipHopiz4Real Yeah, this is a rebuilding year for us,the only game Iam looking forward to this year from the Cowboys is the Buffalo Bills game coming up in November due to my respective area being mostly Bills fans and my serve strong hate for the Bills only adds fuel to the fire for that game.Last time we played them (2007 Week 5 I think) we threw 5 picks to those clowns and STILL came back and won the game, lmao! Fuck Western New York serouslly,go Cowboys.

  • @zeokenX

i was at that monday nighter in 2007, unreal game. the atmosphere was amazing. every bills fan was so excited until that last minute. best game I've ever been to.

  • You guys get the NFC West this year so congrats on those 4 wins LOL

  • @spdfrk1087 hmmm, Im not sure we can beat Seattle or St. Louis. Not to mention Kevin Kolb in AZ now, this new team does not perform well on the road or against slightly talented teams.

  • I like the way he said how the recievers were doing, I kind of thought that Miles Austin was not playing as good as he used to I sure hope he breaks out again.

  • Don't really want to be pass happy. Just like you said though as long as Garrett doesn't over use the screen game we'll be alright. Our short game really needs some improvement. The athleticism on our O-line is a positive but we need that big bulk up front that we had in previous years. It will get better.

  • hahahaha, good one the part with nfl network,LOL

  • good secondary equals pass rush right now we have a two man pass rush , Ware Ratliff, but no real push thats a football term for inside preasure because the other team chip ware and double rat ,No one else isa threat which allows our secondary to have to cover longer and thats not possible for anybody , great vid holla

  • Romo will have a big year and so will dez dont worry about them. I am worried about our secondary though cuz newman is already hurt smh. This was a terrible off season for us as far as free agents go

  • Hey Shango what do you think about Phil Costa starting on the offensive line? Do you think its a good idea? He played good against the broncos...

  • If we don't start seeing more of Victor Butler during the regular season, I'll lose my mind.

  • Hey Shango, glad to be back and I'm sure ready for some football!

  • @CarlyUTube Hey Carly...yeah...football feels good.

  • I hope somebody can beat out Scandrick for the third corner, he cant cover!!! Im also concerned about Newman, hes on the wrong side of thirty and hes injury prone. Newman will be a liability to Dallas in my opinion.

  • hopefully everything pans out and the secondary could hold defense scares me harris maybe he will pan out i hope soo it would be nice in a 4 WR set

  • Hey shango! Love the vids. Does anyone know of a website (or maybe youtube) where I can see this pre season game in it's entirety? I don't know if that would be copyright infringement or not? I would love to see this game. I work on

Sundays :( Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • @mrdizz916 dcfanatioc has them on his site i think. I watched it at the cowboyszone forum

  • @thedallascowboyshow Awwready! Thanks for the info Shango! Peace to all my STARHEADS!

  • @thedallascowboyshow We didnt have jenkins or Newmen play against bronco's I think thats why we got burned so badly that 1st drive, but im really liking our D line, really getting preasure on the QB, with all those different kinds of blitz's rob ryan has but your right I am scared of our secondary cuz last year it did not look pretty, even though running wize we did pretty good at stoping it

  • miller sucks dick

  • Shall we "catch the break and roll out with Rrraaaannndy Moss?"

  • Our secondary is gonna get raped next week by the chargers

  • Also the defense was missing for starters and olshansky was getting manhandled, with leismorre stepping up his days are numbered, also victor butler looked impressive abd was causing havoc, almost got a sack, and was constantly putting pressure

  • I understand your concern shango but dez blew am opportunity when he missed the blitz and could had a long td and harris read it perfectly when it was his turn he caught all give passes, is still pretty impressive, bringing in a veteran will be a progress stopper, I have confidence, and don't forget radaway also looked pretty good

  • the good - dwayne harris will be our #3 i loved him every since we picked him, radway will make the roster, hatcher looked quicker with the new weight loss, mcgee is clutch versus 3rd string defense, philip tanner will make practice sqaud, arkin is athletic but needs to add 10-15lbs if he doesnt want to get bull rushed all game during the regular season

the bad - romo/dez/sens have lots of rust to shake off, miller is only good in training camp, shouldv resigned bowen, dline is soft, ect...

  • @pimpfluid69 I can't call Harris a number 3 yet. He has potential future star written all over him but he has a lot to learn.

Both Arkin and Tyron are barely tipping 300lbs. This worries the hell out of me on short yardage. It looks like Garrett will run all counters, draws, and screens....I only really like those plays a few times in a game...IMO we need to be able to run with authority at some point but that's not gonna happen with this roster.

  • @thedallascowboyshow yeah his numbers were blown by that 73 yrd catch and run by the denvers 3rd string blown coverage

tyron was at 285 then at his pro day they say he was 310 but he looked small during the game and arkin needs to be at 320 if he wants to play inside with todays DTs....every team will know garretts offense since its obvious he wont be running short yardage and btwn the tackles majority of the time

what we need is a beast FB like Mike Alstott for our short yardage lol

  • @thedallascowboyshow We tried that if we do it again jerry will get mad and fire garret and hire a spread offens coach but keep the big lineman(i.e Gurarde, Davis, Holland)

On short yardage plays i put my trust in Witten and Dez and I believe that Felix will make some plays too.

  • Marray is injured. That's why he didn't play

  • the secondary was missing newman an jenkins they will be better also no ratliff

  • The cowboys might wanna try to get Osi from the Giants, I think he could help our pass rush. I also I think signing another veteran corner, O.Lineman and receiver would be a smart thing to do, I do like McGees potential in the future too, he has a thing for the 4th qtr. for his comebacks.

  • @EWILLS254KING I think he would like too much money, and right now he has hurt his knee.

  • @EWILLS254KING we dont have the money for osi and hes a 4-3 DE not a 3-4 OLB, i dont think he can make the transition and be successful

  • I wanted to see DeMarco Murray play. Why wasn't he in the game Shango??

  • @jvalenz16 murray has a hamstring injury and choice also has an injury

  • @jvalenz16 injured

  • Shango, Igor sucked!! Jason Hatcher had a nice game. I seen him get a few QB pressures on Orton & Tebow.

But too often was the Cowboys DL pushed backwards. It doesn't matter what scheme the defense uses if the DL can't get off blocks or AT THE VERY LEAST hold their ground!!!!

  • @SaintJimmy76 Igor sucked...that was my point

I saw Hatcher once with a nice play and Spears too...but come on. We KNOW Hatcher and Spears.

  • @thedallascowboyshow

the "dancing bear" needs to go, lissemore showed some flashes and i want him to get some more reps next game vs san diego but yeah spears and hatch we already know who they are....hatch had his chance to step up when spears got hurt and got benched by bowen who we didnt resign...funny how we somehow have money to go after nnamdi but not sign one of our best defensive linemen

  • @thedallascowboyshow and that was my point when I texted you crying about Ty Warren getting a pretty inexpensive contract. For the price of Spears & Hatcher we could've gotten Warren. That'd be like having TWO Jay Ratliff's on the line instead of 1 Jay Ratliff & 2 bums.

But let's cut the defense SOME slack. Rob's only had 2 weeks to work with them. Hopefully by the time the Meat & Potatoes of the regular season schedule comes around (about week 4) the defense will be playing Top 10 D.

  • @thedallascowboyshow What really disappointed me is that I didn't see Romo changing. He was still trying to force it to people...ESPECIALLY his butt-buddy Jason Witten. Witten, at the goal line was PLASTERED with 2 defenders and Romo threw it up for grabs........again. I wish that sorry fucking POS would do what Kitna did and RUN IT whenever Witten was clearly NOT open. Or how about this novel ideal....instead of trying to thread the needle to Witten how about heaving it deep to Dez/Miles??

  • @nmc0162nd

Don't that will happen. Garrett led the "TO has to go" brigade...lol

  • FUCK MCGEE!!! It's his 3rd year and he STILL can't hit wide-open receivers with a clean pocket to work in?!?!?! By the time Romo was in his 3rd season he was putting himself in the discussion to be the Starting QB.

If it weren't for Dwayne Harris then McGee would've had a completely shitty game.

  • So sound "delusional" now.....SMH

  • @Simus1974

huh? dude please don't tell me you've picked up the pipe again...lol

  • @thedallascowboyshow lol..sold alot never did it & the last pipe I picked up, I got a felony assault charge, ended up at wayside honor ranch...lol :)

  • Saw the game on TV, Dwayne Harris looked like a beast! He should be our #3 or #4 receiver after that long touchdown! He also had a pretty decent kick return too!

  • @TheCodRespawn Saw it on internet*

  • I was at the game last night and you could sense the whole time there was confusion on the defense. With Ryan's new system it'll take time for them to find their rhythm but when they do they'll be a threat. This is why we have a preseason!

  • Don't worry about the backs. With DeMarco and Tashard back we'll be just fine. You can't expect Miller to see many touches once the regular season starts.

  • They better talk about that boy dwayne harris!! He was killing last night

  • Calling Mcgee a hero right now is to much brotha. i mean he is ok at best, but he aint consistant. i agree he had a good game, a very good game but thats all it is, just one good game. Not talkig smack cuz you know me Shango, i watch your shows religiously lol, i love my cowboys, but this year i aint falling for any hype. Good game Mcgee but do it again for the next 3 games and then i will be impressed.

  • @BIGJOEDAPOET I was just joking....he's no where near ready for primetime but you have to give it too him. He wins these games at the end...lol

  • @thedallascowboyshow haha yea i got you Shango, and he betta keep winning them also if he wants to play at least one game this season lol

  • @nmc0162nd looks like we got another beast reciever marks my words he will be a beast in the season

  • So why were you incarserated?

  • @epicninjastar1985

No incarserated...but it feels like it. I'll be back 100% by the 30th

  • Can't say much about the D right now, Only 2 weeks under Ryan and he said he only kept 2% of what Wade taught these guys and I am guessing that 2% is the name of the defense.. the 3-4...

  • I did not like the offensive and defensive lines at all from the starters that first preseason game, I understand they did not have ratliff, it just looked like the lines were getting shoved all around that first series...

  • @bigdogal21 That will be the story of the season...how weak we are in the trenches

  • we lost that short yardage game when we cut barber

  • @777blw We never had it even when we had Barber.

  • @Gwattas yes we did last year we would put him in on 3rd downs and short yardage situations

  • @777blw

We could have had a short yardage game with Barber but we ran sweeps with him on third and short.

  • @777blw I know we put him in. My point was/is that our O-line was not effective in short yardage and goal line situations running the ball (and hasn't been for a little while now).

  • I would wait til the 3rd preseason game to evaluate defense. I must admit the def backfield is a concern. Our defensive front 7 will have to apply pressure for us to be successful. Hopefully our offense can keep us in games. JG must realize a solid ground game and moving the chains will help the defense. Quick scores are nice but it may not be god for this def unit. I only saw highlights I will see the dvr replay tonight. very interestd in Mcghee

  • i am surprised we did not actively pursue Jericho Coothcery. Oh Well he is gone to the Steelers

  • Ogletree has like 10 carer catches half of which where bubble screens, if he's ready to be the #3 then so is Harris who honestly looked 10x better in this game.

I'd feel much better with Harris playing then Ogletree but i guess that says more about our depth behind Dez and Miles then anything else

  • @BLY78NOR I think we need some experience...on that INT Ogletree and Holly almost ran into each other....we need people that will not make mistakes...as much

  • Harris was a beast at ECU. Broke all kinds of records. The ones he didn't break, he was still a close second to Chris Johnson. I have s good friend who is a diehard pirates fan who was telling a couple days ago that Dallas was gonna love this kid. Passing D was awful but we need to keep in mind both starting corners were out.

  • @CowboyBill22

Like I said though...I was giddy over Ogletree too...but the little I've seen of Harris I really like...i think he can be a weapon for Tony Romo...maybe not this year but certainly down the road. Now though, It's time for Ogletree to step up.

  • @thedallascowboyshow Well that's up to Ogletree. He's "penciled in" at the #3 WR spot. But he still has to earn it. I like Ogletree. I think his work ethic and humble demeanor are good for this football team. But if he slips up Harris is gonna take his spot. As a team, it's a good position to be in. Losing Williams and Hurd had me concerned about depth. So ANY new talent that can add depth is a welcome sight. Don't count out Radway and his world-class speed either.

  • Shango I am not going to lie, I don't see a good year ahead for D Cowboys, will be watching them at Candlestick park on my trip to the states in a few weeks though........keep the updates coming dude, I have a Cowboys supporter in the house and your info helps me rag on him. Go the Bears!

  • @tNJippoes I don't either. We lack players on D...that's the problem. It's "Dware and friends". It's pretty sad to do that to Dware in his prime.

Wait what? I'm helping ypou destroy a cowboys brother! :-O

  • @thedallascowboyshow Alll good fun, me and the two sons started playing Fantasy a few years ago and we are hooked on the game now - it's the closest thing in the world to Rugby League (not rugby, that is for fairies) NFL is in our off season so its all Patriots, Bears and Cowboys through our summer here. Love your passion and updates though dude, great to see someone who cares so much, keep up the good work. Lots of Aussie NFL fans now that they play most of the games on FOX every week!

  • Don't judge in preseason. It's like reading at 4:00 in the morning. You're tired and not at your best.

  • I loved what Dwayne Harris did both receiving and on special teams. We gotta work him in with first team in the pre-season to see what he could do against another first team. As far as the D... I mean Thomas had nice play, Spears had nice play but my boy Vic Butler, i think he could get 8-10 sacks this year given the opportunity. Miller was the guy i was high on and now, we'll see, maybe he does better down the stretch. Also REALLY want to see Murray running those screens.

  • @DallasCowboysFan487 Butler looks very good...and has always flashed some real good things.

  • @thedallascowboyshow Thing about McGee though, idk about him. I mean people are kind of being prisoners of the moment because he always seems to bring the team back (last year vs Miami in pre-season, almost vs Cards, vs Philly week 17 and now) but really, i just dont think he would even be a good backup. I would personally rather have Terell Pryor.

  • yeah , good to see the Boys again and we have to get that defensive line fixed and we need a gaurd and a full back ,we still need to find a short yard back ,i liked harris but it was the c team he scored on ,and yes we need a vetran WR , but i will take the win . Shango 10-6 is my call

  • @bigdaddywynne5995 ...I'm not ready to call Harris a 3rd yet...not even close. But I really like everything so far. I was also this high on Ogletree too...that has not panned out yet either. We are weak in the trenches....that will be the story of the season.

  • We need someone to replace Holland before the season starts..

  • @Riveraman08

Holland needs to be cut if you ask me...We kknow he's not gonna get the job done. Roll with the rookie!

  • shango!!!!
