if nuts and bolts didn't have any connections with banjo-kazooie or if it was from a different studio al together, it might not have been such a stain on the banjo-kazooie franchise.

When I was a kid, I watched my uncle playing dkc3. When he was in the factory level, I was actually scared of this music. My personal order I like the DKC games in is.

2 > 1 > 3

However, all 3 are better then all the other DK games (I didn't care for DK64 and onward much).

And all 3 had extremely good soundtracks and graphics, as well as superb game play. All 3 pushed the SNES hardware to the limits in certain areas.

I liked DK64 although I would say the Country trilogy for SNES was better overall. DKC Returns was fun, too, but it lacked the variety in musical style that the original trilogy had.
