There is no mode, its search and destroy, one man runs around knifing people, the others hide. when its 1 v 1 they are aloud to kill each other, but only with knifes.

haha, ok. the xbox only has 3 things going for it: 1) better online (it almost balances out though, because it actually costs money) 2) halo 3 (which i personally don't like that much, but it's heralded as one of the greatest games ever) and 3) better FPS experience, because of the triggers instead of buttons.

other than that, from my experiences, PS3 rapes the 360.

look.. xbox has better muliplayer full stop wothout a doubt.. PS3 has some really awesome exclusives like uncharted 2 and GoW 3 soon to come.. but personaly i like xbox controlers better becoz its bolky and not as sencitive as the PS3 controler

i like PS3 becoz of the Blu-Ray and the exclucive games... but i like xbox for everything else

i mean, i agree with most of what your saying. xbox is better online, ps3 has more and better exclusives. xbox has the better controllers. ps3 is much much prettier. but, if i had to chose a system, i'd still go with ps3. it also does SO much more shit than the xbox.

they're both good systems. but my personal preference is the ps3. and i truly think it's becoming the superior console. not trying to be a fanboy (i'm sure that's what some will say though)

The whole point is to run and hide. Has something to do with Mike Myers (not sure what). He is on his own team and must knife everyone and all they can do until the last man standing is run. It works better on Halo where you can give the Mike Myers special traits and invincibility (to cut out cheating) as well as give the runners a better chance. There are many custom levels designed for that gametype as well. Look some up on youtube. Its pretty fun!

True, but depending on the settings it may be near impossible to sneak up on the Mike Myers. And obviously, as with the CoD version, cheating is discouraged (and can be further enforced with massive loss of points on killing MM).

SirHlo I think sent me a custom map to try with those settings, I'll have to give it a shot. The running just seems pretty slow in Halo 3.

The running on Halo seems much faster to me than CoD. And it can be ramped up by 300%. That will usually send you flying a good ways when running off a hill. And thats not even counting low gravity settings. Or high gravity, depending on your preference. The nice thing about CoD is you actually have a knife rather than substituting a sword.
