No, no. This is from "Songs of a wayfarer",or " of a Travelling journyman". The name of the songs you mentioned is "Kindertotenlieder"

Moreover , Mahler wrote the Kindertotenlieder before his first girl died .( The other didn't and became a great artist) The children the songs is written for are not his own , but Friedrich Rückerts .

It was a kind of premonition . But Mahler lost one of his young brother s, too .

Wow, that's really a rare treat. That's a fine song, even by Mahler's high standards. Such good form, economy, imagery...just a treat. And to hear Kirsten sing it is really amazing for me because until you posted these, I had no idea there were any recordings of Kirsten singing Mahler.
