That's only because Steve Burton and George Newbern, along with Keith David, do things outside of FF. It's because they are more well known that they are put at the top.
@TheSiIentXelxas Final Fantasy 2 is my second favorite(aside from 10), the storyline, weapon mastery, spell mastery and a collection of lovable and hateful characters makes it the second best Final Fantasy in my opinion. as for FFVII thats my fifth favorite as that game had many flaws in my opinion.
Does anyone else think its pretty epic that Bartz mimiced Cloud and Squall's blades during his cutscene at the same time? I also like that he used Zidane's. Those three characters were the best ones on the playstation original.
FF1: Recognise it but can't name FF2: Dunno FF3: Dunno FF4: An alternate version to the remade opening FF5: Dunno FF6: Dunno FF7: Recognise it FF8: Eyes on Me FF9: Melodies of Life FF10: To Zanarkand Dissidia: Title Screen Wish I knew what the others were ^^;
The music is really cool under it :D i love this game :D FF rules and dissidia is a really good game (the 1st game what sqenix made not to be an RPG :D
@Juggninja24 Because they were in previous gigs with FF7 Advent Children and such, so apparently it makes them 'more important'. Chaos, I'm not sure of, but I'm guessing the same.
I really don't care myself, this game isn't about them.
i like how they chose a song from each FF for its representetive like X was the ending theme and 7 was the one that plays at the end of the Movie AC and 8 Eyes on Me without words... i loved that.
Well Melodies of Life is a really sad song from a really sad game, and then it transitions into a full orchestra version of a piece you're used to only hearing from a single piano. Personally, I wish I could buy each individual version of the songs from VI upwards.
@mikevmpr3 i agree with you. but if they did that, then square enix would have to use much MORE data, to design and recreate the extra characters and locations.
@TheNewAtman well this game is approx. 1.22 gigs, and a umd has a 1.5 gig capacity, there for a small avi clip/short of them returning back wouldn't take up 3 full gigs unless they made it like super high def uncompressed video.
@mikevmpr3 I agree! D: Though, it's a little thing called "Being Lazy". Those entire scenes would have to be CG modelled specifically for the credits, which the higher-ups seen as unnecessary, so thought they'd cut out the middle man and save time. Though, I'd have loved to have seen them :( Stupid lazy Square-enix D:<
I must say, it was cool when they segue'd into the different scores, it took me a while to notice until about IV onward. Funny how they used Cyan's theme for VI...
Regardless, my heart chords chimed when they did X's goodbye theme.
Probably because Cyan's "theme" was the first to play when all the characters in VI got their end game montage. Still, it doesn't make me think FF VI's final score, rather than just Cyan's score, while although he was my favorite character in that game, just holds no emotional attachment or relationship towards Dissidia, FF VI as a whole or even Terra...
Very very nostalgiac indeed, I love the storyboarding technique with the music. My favourite ending themes were the earliest and latest final fantasy's, like 1+2 and 7 onwards.
What's really cool about this is that the music they use is a piece of the ending theme of each game. For example, you can hear the "Eyes on Me" while they're showing Squall and Ultimecia and "Melodies of Life" while they're showing Zidane and Kuja. But they do it for each game. That's F'ing awesome
I agree...I love watching each cutscene from each game go in numerical order and try to pick up the ending theme to each game (I could easily pick up FFVII;s theme and Eyes on me for VIII)
...I think they're all awesome, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
I love Cyan theme!

I really love FF7, but there is a limit to how much attention it can get!!!
Cause come on, Its hard not to notice on how much attention Square Enix gives FF7...

The intro to the FF7 main theme is insanely epic, does anyone have a link to a non-dissidia version that starts like that?

FF6: Cyan's theme.
I would've wished it was a sneak peak of Cyan being in duodecim. But there are many Cosmos warriors announced already.
Or are there?
