1. Omega Mark XII has 130 Att. Pwr., Yiazmat 107.

Omega Mark XII dosen't need an instant death attack - it's normal attacks can instantly kill someone.

2. Yiazmat with 50,112,254 HP. Altough Zodiark can be very frustrating with his Paling and Magick Shield.

3. Yes - Yiazmat again. :P

What accessory did you have Ashe wear? I only ask because you seemed to use Hastega Motes a lot, when you could have equipped her with Hermes Sandals.

Or was there a more important accessory she needed to be equipped with?

Ashe is wearing Indigo Pendant so she can cast Reverse 100% of the time to avoid being killed quickly.

Yep, and unlocking Yiazmat isnt easy. You need to beat almost every hunt like you said and you have to beat Hell Wyrm first. Omega Mark XII is a way harder boss. Yiazmat is actully just having almost all the best equipment and enduring for like an hour...

Omega mark XII was too easy. Actually, I was very disappointed. Because people were making it seem like he was like "OMFG. HE BE LYK SOOO HARDDD!!11!one". I got so excited when I saw that.

My team: Vaan lvl 99 [Tournesol/Magepower Shishak (sp?)/Maximillian/Bubble Belt]

Fran lvl 99 [Golden Axe with Demon Shield (she usually has Excalibur on)/same garment as Vaan

Balthier lvl 99 [Ragnarok/same garment as the rest]

It took me less than 7.5 minutes to defeat. ._.

With 3 chars its very easy, I agree, next time try to do it with NLBLLG :P. That is almost impossible to do but it definitly is do-able. I want to do it myself but I am not gonna start a whole new game just for that :P. And I hate LLG.

O.o Good job on Omega but you have each character targeted for Reverse. Wouldnt it be simpler to have the gambit Ally: any/Reverse for slot # 4? I would figure it did the same thing sept Basch gets priority.

i did the same thing with KOR and dark matter...it worked wonders for me because i couldnt expose him for some reason, and by his hp critical i was barely taking off 1000 hp per attack

Ouch!!At minute 3:09 curaja hit your characters very hard, I see that you forgot that your characters had Reverse status.

It is funny to see how a powerfull healing spell can become a kiler for your characters if you know not what you are doing.

yea um i was wonderin in my strat guide it says to use armor without any mag resist why u using the crown of laurels?

Why no magic resist? I used Crown of Laurels because it adds good HP bonus.

By removing any helms you have on, you get rid of any magic resist. Therefore Reverse hits much more often. If you just want the HP boost then use Dueling Mask

Did you pay attention to the video? You see that Ashe is doing reverser automatically in the beginning. In fact, I set a whole bunch of Reverse gambits to cast on my reserves just in case.

although it took way longer than 35 minutes.

it reminded me of my first time playing ff 10, i didn't know how to use the sphere grid so ended up doing a no sphere grid challenge for the whole game.

So any two characters, and you do weapons and equipment and magic? then can you use augment licenses like the +hp ones?

It's really not a waste of time because it's just like playing any other video game. I didn't spend too many hours playing per day. I don't understand why it's considered a waste of time or not having a life if you play a game, whether it's a challenge or not. I don't see the difference between playing a challenge or playing a regular game.

All that I did was let Basch learn the bottom license board only and Ashe learn the top license board only. That's all.

what I dont understand,is why do u lvl to 99 if ur gonna use reverse??I used reverse/decoy,a lvl 75 attacker,2 lvl 65 supporters and took him out in less than an hour...

I hope you know that this is a challenge, right? Notice that in this game, if you don't have good augments/equipments, your defenses are poor regardless of level. I was doing Half license board challenge.

Basch only knows the bottom license board, so his hp is poor and he has to depend on equipments. Ashe only knows the top license board, so her equipments are pathetic (the initial ones she can equip). Her defenses are poor as a result. DCHLB (Dual Character, Half License Board Challenge)

Also, you are only allowed to use two characters. Basch and Ashe are used in this case.

Reverse turns damage into healing. Which is why it only lasts about 10-15 seconds. You can gambit it to keep it recasting though

I don't think it's possible without reviving. Omega's attacks are too quick. With only one character doing reverse/decoy, the attacks will eventually catch up to her once haste wears off. Also, you have to consider when both characters become berserked, you loose control of them and cannot run away when needed. Yeah, I should have tried Masamune. Maybe things would have ended quicker. I'll probably go back to a saved file and try with the Masamune to see if that's the case.

Well, I did test the Masamune and realize that it's only better when Basch is at HP critical. With reverse, Basch's HP will constantly be high because Omega's attacks heals him. Therefore, it's best to use Tournesol because the damage output is greater at higher HP and it has decent combos. I found that the battle went by faster with Tournesol + Genji gloves.

Also, when I did another battle with Omega, I found that it could be possible to beat him without using reserves to revive the two characters. I just didn't use Hastega too often the first time I beat him.

Yeah, Hastega Motes are a must for any battle that does not solely rely on using items (NLB type games mostly).

Well, you could go without them, but they are a quicker way to cast Hastega (compared to the spell) and cost no MP.

I get the dark matters in the Bazaar: 1 bat wing, 3 Grimoire tolgail from Henne Mines Nightmare, 3 Grimoire Aidhed from Mistmare in Pharos. In the video description, I described an easy way to charge Dark Matter: just attack your allies with at least 99 knot of rust near a save crystal. You can buy them at Muthuur Bazaar after reaching a certain clan rank.
